Hi all cant believe some people have had snow  its been quite nice here but very very flipping cold out of the sun!!

Been swimming this morning and done 36 lengths :j to be honest was going to get out after 30 lengths but noticed they were hosing down the changing room so stayed in for abit longer :p

Has anyone read a book called 'Sugar Blues' its an old book from the 70's and quite hard going to read but its all about how awful sugar is for us all and about its rise to a popular foodstuff!

After reading it i almost totally cut out sugar and the difference was amazing- clear skin, flat stomach, loads of energy etc but unfortunatly its extremely hard to keep this up as sugar (or sweetners) is in practically EVERYTHING these days.

I try and keep sugar to a minimum as and when I can but they sneak it n to all sorts- soups, beans, tinned veg , mayo, salad cream...................

Anyway ill shut up now.......Im .never one for a short post :rotfl:

Back from my day out, m-ways were crawling so pleased to be home. Didn't get snow but it was a bitterly cold wind, and had a torrential downpour on the M25. Typical.

    B - none
L - went to zizzi, had aubergine parmigiano (saw it on the menu and just had to try it after seeing it here. Definitely going to make it myself, it's delicious!), side salad. Lemon tart
T - 2 slices WW Danish toasted, spread w/ff yogurt and grilled with a little rf cheese. Smattering of pickle
S - aple, grapes, melon, banana
E - walking round DM's town with her holding onto my arm - heavy :(

My exercise class is for 2 1/2 hours twice a week starting tomorrow to see if they improve my lungs so going to have manage my time a bit more carefully!

Snap! Well, actually, I can top that unfortunately, I ate a whole bag of them "meant for sharing". I didn't even enjoy them, really , and no exercise either (didn't get out of my pjs yesterday as it was snowing)

So, I need to draw a huge thick black line under the whole sorry weekend, and start again.

    Todays, plan then is -

    Brekkie - hm muesli
Lunch - hm spicy lentil soup & hm bread
Dinner - sausage & bean casserole (don't get downwind of me by the end of the day :rotfl:)

Exercise - depends on weather & work level - may be a walk at lunchtime

    Treats - absolutely none!

Hope everyone is ok this Monday morning.

    LB xx

Im plodding on. Weight is still yo-yoing up and down by 2 lbs. Concerted effort until Friday may hopefully see a loss on the scales (well a girl can dream.....)

    Have a good week x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Morning all, it's a bit cold and dull out there!

RoseWood I'm impressed at you doing the shred DVD, I haven't dared yet. That's a good long walk too. Savesumore, well done on the swimming. :T

Sparrer, good luck with the exercise classes, it's a horrid condition!

Magical and LavenderBees, I've done that so many times! The amount of junk food I can eat is embarrassing. It takes time and practice to establish new habits, I'm still chipping away at mine. :o

I managed to eat two HM cinnamon swirls with sugar on yesterday, They were so yummy! Luckily going for a long walk meant I was still under my calorie goal on MFP.

    Today:
B: Porridge with mixed frozen berries, 2x coffee with ss.
L: Cheese sandwich or ryvita with cheese
    D: Winter vegetable cobbler, fish
    S: fruit

    Exercise: a few walks.

Have a good day all. :)

Lunch provided at work today by fab chef we get in when we're running short courses. As it's the first day of their week we'll also have a cheese and wine this evening :p so the plan is
    B 2 weetabix with milk
L enough to make me not feel cheated but not so much as to make me feel guilty
    D chicken casserole (already made)
Treats that'll be the cheese and wine. As for lunch. Oh and a nana at elevenses and an apple mid afternoon as that seems to be working well. Exercise will probs have to be a walk after work. Enjoy the day everyone.

    morning all

today has been a bad morning sickness day so far, haven't left for work yet, am debating either calling in sick or working from home :o Might call in sick but do a bit this afternoon if I feel better, will make me feel less guilty!

    Food:
    Breakfast: 1/2 slice wm toast.
Lunch: DH has made me a cheese sandwich, may not fancy it by lunchtime though :o
Dinner: mediterranean vegetable bake, 1/2 baguette. may add chorizo if there's some in the fridge, I can't open it at the mo, will have to wait for DH to come home:rotfl:

    Morning,

Haven't posted my food for the last few days as eating has been out of control! Weighed myself this morning and have gained 3lbs! So, today is a new day and I am determined to keep eating under control. I finished off the HM icecream, cake, and chocolate yesterday so have nothing in the house to tempt me.

B- Rice cereal and rice milk, 1 pear
L- Salad, boiled egg, rice cracker
D- Left over roast pork, lots of veg. Left over rhubarb crumble, without the cream!

Snacks, Various bit of fruit I have in the fridge.
    Summer weightloss challenge
    Aim to lose 10lbs:)
