Yesterday just got worse, a house up the road has come up to let which me may have to apply for as we are not on tenancy here any more and may have to leave at a month's notice, I don't want to move and the house is not as nice as this one but such is the lot you get when you rent.

Can you ask your landlord to commit to a longer tenancy if it's causing you stress? Ours is on a yearly basis, and is due to renew in September, but once I've had my scan I'm going to ring the landlord and check he's intending to extend again as I don't want to move house when 7.5months pregnant!

I didn't explain well, we were told last may when we went to renew that they couldn't commit to any length of time as the house they themselves are renting is on the market. We won't want to move out and they don't want to move back here but it's really up to the owner of the house they are in (Landlady's Dad, his new wife wants to sell the place!). Anyway I am trying to get them to persuade the Dad to take their house off the market for a few years so both us and the landlord's family get some security for a few years. But if that can't happen we will have to apply for this other place, which isn't as nice. Hey ho, will see how it goes.

I did have a small snack before lunch, but it was only a clementine :A
Lunch - Soup and 1 slice brown bread with scraping of spread.
    Snack - Chocolate buttons
Dinner - bolognese with 1/2 garlic baguette. I used to eat a whole one so that's progress, but probably only because DH and I have to share with the DCs now!
Pudding - tinned peaches and double cream. I knew I should have put BOTH pots of double cream in the freezer...

Still a huge improvement on yesterday...

Had a pretty good day today :) still working at home and have managed to be good and not stray towards the naughty treats in the kitchen and even braved the rain for a good hour or so's walk!!

    food today...
    B - Multigrain hoops
    S - Apple
L - HM Veg soup with pitta bread and HM cheery and ginger scone (made with a weight watchers recipe so lower fat than shop bought and normal recipes)
    S - 3 Ryvita and Hummus
D - Chick pea curry with spinach and red quinoa, frozen yogurt in icecream cone

    Excercise - 4 mile walk

Thinking of going to the pub quiz but going to set off a bit later than usual to miss the snacks that go round before it starts.

    Evening All

Hope you are feeling a bit better now RAGZ - and anyone else feeling down.

I've had an enjoyable day, though couldn't go out for my planned run this morning as it didn't stop raining.

B: 2 hardboiled eggs mashed up with a bit of butter
L: Stuffed red pepper - stuffed with mixture of ham, cheese, mushrooms, garlic, onion and a bit of left over spinach. It was gorgeous! Banana and a smidgeon of left over custard.
    T: Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
    Treats: Iced coffee frappe

Exercise: 5 minutes continuous skipping (with an imaginary rope) - to make up for not going running! 40 minutes swimming - breast stroke. 6 mile walk.

I have to make sure I have an early night tonight as DS and DDiL are having a day out tomorrow and I am to be round at their house for 7am to babysit for the day. I am going to take my exercise DVD with me so I can do it whilst waiting for DGD to wake up - her usual getting up time is around 8.30 apparently.

Tink - I've not been feeling too cheery today, then I read about your scone and it gave me the first smile of the day. Thank you ;)

    Morning, all

Seems like a few people on this thread are feeling low for various reasons at the moment. Hope you've all slept well, and are feeling a bit better this morning.

Still doing ok, but it's raining again today, so still unlikely to get a walk in. I've given up with lunchtime walks at the moment as am just too busy at work

Today's plan is slightly different to earlier in the week -

    Brekkie - hm muesli
Lunch - egg salad sandwich in hm (strangely shaped :rotfl:)bun - need to use the eggs up
Dinner - looks like roast brisket/gravy/handful of oven chips and peas - all from freezer

It's nearly Friday, folks. Keep hanging in there :A

Thanks LB, I'm one of those who's been in the doldrums and need snap out of it now! Think it's because I can't get into the garden, there's no other reason for me to be gloomy. Silly, huh?

    B - spicy fruity porridge
D - mackerel, green beans, peas
T - 3 crackerbread with usual toppings. I'll get tired of them soon and start looking for fresh ideas
S - hc bun w/rf clover, apple, melon, banana
E - 2 1/2 hours exercise class. Worn out after Monday's and slept for hours, hope I have more stamina today!

Have good day and don't curse the rain, just think the drought will be over in no time if it keeps up  :rotfl:
