Am not in the slightest bit jealous.......;)
Me neither!!
Big pat on the back to those that have lost.
No surpises that I STS *ahem* or perhaps even gained half a pound. Never mind there wasn't much effort or exercise beyond Tuesday so can't expect miracles to happen.Mortgage

What's your height, sparrer? Just because we have similar weight goals, so I wondered how tall you were. I often feel I'm very heavy for my height, because of my build - e.g. I don't look much bigger than my best friend, but she weighs a good stone and a half less than me, because I carry the weight on my legs, hips and bum.0 -

I'm 4ft 11 3/4" Ella, but easier to say 5 feet to save breath. My bmi is 26 so in the 'overweight' range. I carry my weight from below bust to lower belly - was asked in my late 40's if I was pregnant  I'm 64 now, 16 months ago was 12st 2lb which was ridiculous. I'm not rushing it, I still have a daily treat and occasional meals out, but stopped buying rubbish which was a big part of my being obese, and pick at fruit instead now.

Quite pleased with 1lb as went to The Ritz for afternoon tea (Christmas pressie I bought for my mum) and wow was that a calorie-laden cake stand! I heartily recommend it though as a once in a lifetime treat!!!0 -
I survived the first day. Really craved choccie after dinner but i had fruit instead. It seems writing my diet down on here is making me stick to it.
good luck all xComping for christmas xThankyou to all posters0 -
Having lost a regular 2lb a week for 10 weeks, I join this challenge and have only lost 1lb this week! I have been weighing myself daily and have been 2lb less than this during the course of the week, such are the ups and downs. Anyway, that is 1/24 for me and I hope for next week's WI to even things out. What I need is some good old exercise over the weekend (housework - eugh!) and maybe it will get my metabolism going again. Thank you for the congratulations Lavenderbees, ragz, , Ellarose and p0lly. Need2be thank you and well done on your loss too. :T
P0lly, I don't have any tips, I usually sts or gain most weeks so this one is a bit of a fluke. The only thing I've done differently is to stick to small helpings of food and question if I really need more after each helping, and to record the majority of the food I eat on Myfitnesspal. I hope it lasts, but given my track record...
Well done Dundeedoll russetred, attentionseeker1 and Woohoo The Dragon, 4lbs is fabulous! :j
Living proof, a 1lb loss is still a loss, well done.
Comisserations anyone who's gained or sts, this weight loss thing is such an up and down game!
Have a good evening all, I'm debating having Friday Cheat Night (=chocolates and crisps) as it has been a long week. I hope you're all stronger than me.

Hmmmmmmmm a day of two halves
I have been 'good' this morning- I said no to a breakfast sandwich at work whilst those all around filled their faces with bacon sarnies  then at lunchtime I overcome the urge to ditch my healthy homemade veg soup and have crusty chesse and onions cobs (believe me this was hard as ive had such a carp week at work) but I ate my soup!! :A
But oh dear (those sensitive to a takeaway story look away now)............... I had chipshop chicken tikka keebab meat,
salad :rotfl: and chips for my tea
Im off now to hang my head in shame...........O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0
