I can recommend cottage cheese for anyone who wants to increase their protein. 1/2 a pot [LF], or 150g, contains 107 calories and 16.35 gs of protein.
I know it's not to everyone's taste but I really like it and it's something I will be eating quite a lot over the summer.

Oh you must post a picture - anonymised if you like - but I for one would love to see you in your wedding dress. Really hoping that everything goes smoothly and wish you lots of good wishes for your future xxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Well it is NOT going well, TOTM officially over and yet I was a pound MORE today than Friday. I did rather go BREAD crazy yesterday, so I will try to make up for it today.

Just to confess, yesterday I had toasted bagels and hot cross buns for breakfast with various toppings, I didn't count them as I did a family platter full. Lunch was breadsticks dipped in cream cheese and an innocent veg pot (which gave me indigestion!) and bread and butter. Dinner was thai red curry turkey with pizza, naan bread and bread and butter.

So today I have had tinned peaches with yogurt and 15 pistachio nuts for breakfast.

We are having a BBQ later, but I will try to have no rolls and maybe just some potato salad.

Hope everyone else is doing better than me!

Gorgeous morning here again. I'm sitting outside, listening to some very summery sounds from neighbours, and it's like being on holiday. Total bliss! :)

Last night, I wasn't particularly good at the celebration meal, but it was lovely, and I enjoyed everything I had, and it was a lovely treat to eat innovative food cooked by experts. The chefs also did us proud with the chocolate cake I had ordered as a surprise for the table. Yum, yum, and looked gorgeous, too!

But today is a (nother!) fresh start. I've just woken up from a fairly sound sleep to find half the day already over :(, but it will be fab to have daylight til 8pm tonight. My meal plan for today is -

Copious amounts of fruity tea to wake me up

Brunch - boiled egg and hm wholemeal toast
Dinner - freezer surprise. It looks like a portion of sausage casserole but will not really know until it defrosts, and I'll also do a baked potato.

    Treats - shouldn't really...

Exercise - didn't get any gardening done yesterday as had a clothing panic for the night out, so lots of gardening, and maybe a walk later.

Hope everyone gets the sunshine today. Enjoy it! We made it through another winter. :T

    LB xx

Have a tub (300g ish I think) of Black Forest Fruits (berries) in the freezer. I need HEALTHY suggestions for a pud (preferably) with it. I would have done a tart/crumble but I want a pastry free idea... suggestions welcome.

ETA Well, half an hour on the good food website...

Some version of this sounds nice, though I would have to go out and buy quark, was hoping to avoid shopping!

Or this one looks good and I do have greek yogurt... though my honey doesn't seem to be runny any more...

This low fat frozen yogurt recipe looks pretty tasty too...
