I bought a sweater yesterday from the men's department  Never done such a thing in my life and feel a bit depressed about it too but it's a good length with jeggings even if it is a bit big on the shoulders.
That's strange - I did the same on Saturday because it was Lambswool and reduced to £10 so couldn't really ignore it :D

    Today

Weighed myself this morning and I have gained again.
I haven't even been overindulging, just eating like I imagine "normal people" eat, normal meals, not many snacks. But I've not been cutting back enough, finding it very difficult to give it the concentration I need to diet.

Knit Witch will you please take my name off the challenge, I don't think I'm going to add to your total.
Will keep reading to see how you're all doing, and will be back next year...how many years will I need to be on a diet? I said this would be the last year!

My DD just told me she did similar, a lovely warm Fair Isle men's cardigan, so I don't feel so silly now :o

Unfortunately another sts for me this week, I know it's due to lack of exercise. Will do my best to get moving, I'm away for a week over Christmas and will have no control over the food provided so need make an effort before I go.

Brunch - dry-fried egg on a slice of toasted seeded wm
    D - spaggety boggety
    S - 2 suggestives, banana, handful cobnuts

    Have a good weekend :)

russetred that doesn't seem a lot of food for the day - especially adding in 2 hours exercise!

Sorry I should have explained that was one of my fast days. I try to stick to 500 calories but not too strictly.

I've not had a brilliant week, not much exercise and been over on my calorie goal at least 3 days so far, so I was pleasantly surprised to find I've lost 3lbs! :j I won't be surprised if it goes back on next week, lol, but I'm enjoying it at the moment.

Also today I tried on some jeans and trousers, which were too small, and they now fit almost well enough to wear. The trousers are a new size 8, and the jeans are an old size 10 which, although I've had them about 10 years, I've never been able to wear as I've never been able to slim down enough. However, it shows how much clothes sizes have changed, as the 10s are tighter than the 8s.
