:o Fell off the wagon big style since the start of the challenge and I am too scared to weigh myself... Seem to have no motivation at all. My clothes are all far too tight. It's not good...
Any advice to kick myself into action?

  • Hello everyone

Save, your OH sounds very charming :D

Ragz could you maybe postpone weighting and try to be really good for a week to reduce the damage and only then step on the scales? I sometimes do that when I had a really rubbish week cause it is just so unmotivating to know the exact weight right then.

Need to get my winter boots from the basement, it really gets nippy in the early morning and since I wear skirts or dresses most of the time my legs are quite cold when waiting for the train. So need to do something about it.

    Plan for today
B bread on the go - really need to make sure that I don't get back into that habit!
L pasta with minced meat (left over shepherds pie filling), apple saue
D rice and veggis with coconut milk and curry paste
    S cookies, mandarines

    have a nice evening!

    Don't weigh yourself for a week !
Put all the things you shouldn't eat in a high cupboard so you have to make a decision to eat them rather than having them to hand.
Try to make your food interesting and varied
Post on here every day. Use a smaller plate.
Don't be too hard on yourself or expect a miracle :D

    Today

B = Small bowl spicy porridge

L = Half grapefruit. Hm onion, tomato and garlic soup with half tin of mixed beans. One part-baked roll

T = Hm spicy aubergine and courgette bake with another part-baked roll. Fresh pineapple, blueberries and raspberries with plain yoghurt.

Hope you all have a thrilling Thursday

Thanks for the advice, only just logged on to check though and I weighed myself this morning. Have put on about 5lbs, so not as much as it feels like actually. But still very bad.
So, 5lb gain on the list please (4.6 actually ;) )

Today (I work 8-2 tues and thurs, so it's always odd stuff on a work day)
    1/2 tin of tomato soup @ 7am
1 slice brown bread with spread and a poached egg @11.30am
1 slice white toast with butter and little marmalade (only because I realised I'd used unsalted butter!) @12pm
Small bowl of beef stew and dumplings with veg @ 2pm
    1 apple @ 4.50pm
1 slice of w/m toast @ 5pm (eating kids' leftovers, hate waste)
2 egg and cheese omelette with onion, dried tomatoes, dried courgette and butternut squash, with beans. @ 6pm

I found some willpower I ate nothing after dinner. Even though I got a huge craving after seeing food on tv around 10pm, I managed to talk myself out of eating anything and had a cup of tea instead. This is a major acheivement for me at the moment as normally I talk myself into giving in to my cravings. Also, I did make chips for hubby but I managed to only eat three small ones :)

Not sure what dinner is yet... I'd better not do something with chips as I can't resist them!

Ouchy! But 4.6 being added to the list
