  • Evening everyone

Saver, sorry to hear your bad news! Must be very hard to pretend to be happy at work after having such devastating news.

    My plan for today
B yoghurt, apple, tablespoon of cereals
L pasta with vegetables left over from yesterday
    D risotto, cucumber
    S cookies, mandarines
Drinks not enough.... Having a slight headache, so know what will be the plan for tonight; getting a liter of water down.

Will spend the evening trying to finish my knitting and cuddling with the cats. One of them already settled next to me. And trying to figure out what I need from IKEA, will go there on Friday and will try to go in with a shopping list and try not to buy unnecessary things while trying to make sure that I buy the things I need and don't have to go back anytime soon.

    Have a nice evening

Note to self, don't buy yarn!
  • B: Banana
L: Jacket spud wit beans, tomato and basil soup
S: Apple, small portion of cashew, pistachio and brazil nuts
S: Yogurt, 80g Special K crackers, 2 pain au lait (so my degustabox turned up :p)
T: Salmon fillet, sweet potato and potato wedges

I really need to start tracking properly and using this community properly :) I find it so easy (as I am sure many others do) just to randomly eat stuff! Off to play 2 hours of football now so todays mistakes won't matter, but it is a bad habit.

    Hiya everyone :hello:

    My Ham recipe
Cover ham with cold water and bring to boil.
Throw away all the water and wash pan.
Replace ham and add (depends on size)
    • 1 or 2 large can(s) of dry cider
    • 2 tablespoons of black treacle
    • Juice from a tin of pineapple (keep pineapple for serving)
    • 2 teaspoons of whole black peppers
    • 2 bay leaves
Bring to boil and then reduce to a very slow simmer or put in slow cooker. It will need at least 30 mins per lb in a pot and about 6 hours on low in a SC depending on size.

Make sure bacon covered with liquid at all times, topping up with boiling water if required.

Leave to cool in the liquid, wrap in foil and then pop in fridge until required. Freezes well whole or in pieces/slices.

  • Hi all
Firstly apologies for being AWOL for a few days, it's been a bit crazy in my little world .
Hugs to all those that need them :grouphug:

So had my first weigh I this morning (I joined the challenge last Friday So hope that's ok) and I have lost 1lb.

A little disappointed to be honest but I have never had big losses in fact my biggest weekly loss when at SW was 3lb. I did have a rather heavySaturday night last week so hoping its that:o

Anyhow 1lb off is better than nothing, so onwards and upwards.

My little challenge to myself this week is to increase my exercise:eek:

    Happy Friday one & all x x

well done - trust me a pound off is loads better than a pound on! (at the moment I am looking at staying the same, but wait and see when I weigh on tomorrow!)
