Hi everyone
Congratulaitons to everybody who lost weight!
I just came home, still feeling not too well. So I think I'll have a lazyish evening with dinner on the sofa, some DVDs and my crafting, probably a hot bath and then an early night.
Wanted to surprise a friend with some flowers today, but she wasn't home... Well, that comes from not calling first - because that would spoil the surprise.
yesterday ended up including red wine - but only a small glass for me - and cake as well...
Plan for today, still not feeling hungry and having a strange taste in my mouth, so staying quite basic.
B yoghurt, pear and a tablespoon granola
L soup with veggies and barley
S banana, Kinder bueno
D toast, ham, babybell and cucumber
Drinks so far about a liter of water and two cups of tea, plan on having another liter of tea tonight
E walking a mile from my friends house to the trainstation (took the bus on the way there as I didn't wanted to carry the flowers up there)
have a nice evening!Fashion on the Ration 2022: 5/66 coupons used: yarn for summer top 5 /

Hello All,
Thank goodness it is Friday is all I can say. Hope you all had good weeks.
My scales have broken. Boo. Stepped on them Wednesday and they were OK but by Thursday the display looked like this:
. Then if I waited a while they started jumping around all over the place (not literally :rotfl:) and I weighed anywhere between 10-290lbs and everything in between.Did try a new battery but no difference and still no better just now. So will be purchasing some new ones next week. Does anyone getting that anticipation when getting new scales about whether they will magically have you losing another 3lbs?!
Any recommendations?
So, the upshot of this is I will state now that my weight is what it was mid-week and then we will try again next weekend. On that basis, I am -1.4lbs this week. Hopefully a bigger loss next week.
Have been very disciplined today:
B: 2 crumpets with jam
L: Prawn salad, pineappleSalmon with tons of veggies
coffee, an options and gallons of water
E: 40 minute walk home.
Pub tonight, going to stick to soda water but still be toasting the weekend. Take care all xxJoint account: £23,949/£25,000

I get mine from the £1 shop, and although I've not noticed a problem with the scales, I do seem to have to change the ones in my wii almost every time I use it.
Hello and welcome to all our newbies, and good luck with your weight loss goals.
Well I have had a really bad week, and all our plans for our week off went out the window! I woke up on Monday morning with twinges in my back, then found that our elderly cat wasn't very well and noticed that she had maggots crawling in her fur near her tail, and that she had a sore by her tail, so rang the vet. While getting her ready for the vets, my back started hurting even more and I started getting shooting pains all down my leg, so it was a nightmare getting out to the car, luckily OH was there to take the cat out.
The vet examined her, and said that the maggots could have burrowed into her skin, and that although they could try treating her she may not survive the treatment, as she was quite old and frail. Of course we wanted what was best for her, and didn't want her to go through the stress of the treatment and possibly not survive anyway, so we decided to have her put to sleep, so Monday was a very emotional day.
I have since been in a lot of pain with sciatica and hardly able to move, so we didn't get to go swimming or to the gym, and I couldn't even go for a walk (not to mention we've eaten badly), so I've ended up putting on 3lbs!
On the plus side we have almost eaten the choc orange that we had left from last Christmas, but we are going out to dinner tomorrow so that won't be good, lol! I really must get back on track when I get back to work on Monday.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

I'm really chuffed as I'm another 1 lb down again this week.
Am planning on upping my exercise regime next week so hopefully keep losing rather than stagnate again.
Hope you all have a super Saturday

+1 lb today, that is a shame and weird because yesterday I was 13:3 and today I am 13:5, not sure if it is me or the scales! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

Great, thanks Knit Witch
Here's to a lighter brighter future !!
Well yesterday didn't go too badly except for not drinking enough water
Today is going to be a little harder as I am out to dinner with my sister, however, I am determined to make healthier choices. I'm going to fill up on fruit & veg during the day to keep costs down too.#24 - £1000 Challenge - £397.24 (39.72%) / £10000 -
Hi everyone
Sue, sorry to hear about your cat! Must be very hard to let them go.
Proserpina, I once bought a new scales which made me 2 stones lighter! :rotfl:After celebrating for some minutes I thought about it realisticly and thought no, that can't be. Eventually found out that the scaled wasn't accurate cause it was standing on carpet and not on a hard floor... Took it to the kitchen, weighted again and had the two stones back...:mad:You should get that checked out as a funny taste in the mouth can indicate lots of things. Have a pooter around google and you will see what I mean. Take care
In for a lazy day today, weather isn't as good as promised so had a lay in, did some household things and will probably spend the evening with a good book.
Plan for today
B mini baby bell, two slices of ham
L coleslaw made with quark instead of mayonaise, sprinkle of cheese and bread
D pasta with herbs and a sprinkle of cheese, applesauce as dessert
S grapes, maltesers
Drinks about a liter of peppermint tea so far, need to drink more...
E probably a walk later on
So, need to cook my apple sauce.
Have a nice evening!Fashion on the Ration 2022: 5/66 coupons used: yarn for summer top 5 /
