kraftykat it's just porridge oats made with water, with cinnamon or mixed spice and dried fruit added. If you use apricots, dates etc, they'll need chopping up but cake fruit is fine. No weights cos I just chuck them in, but not too heavy on the spice as I learned by my own mistake! It's sweet enough not to need sugar unless you have very sweet tooth. hth :)
Thanks a million sparrer. I have porridge most days so I might try that for a change :D

Well I'm really surprised but I seem to have mislaid 1 lb this week :T Maybe it's because I have done loads of walking ! Just hope it continues - one thing I'm pleased to lose :rotfl:

Well done on all the others who have lost weight on this last challenge of 2014. Hope we can all look forward to a lighter 2015 hahaha.

Hope you all have a super slimming Sunday

  • Its an STS for me this week. Very disappointing but my own fault as I had a bad weekend last week. Just ate far too much. Back on track now though and at least its not a gain.
Well done to all the losers. Been some great losses this week

Actually......it's funny you should say that :D

My Granny's old neighbour was very slim and she swore that eating a bar of chocolate before bed every night kept her regular :T

    Who knew? Lol xx

Been quite lazy today, went for a walk but apart from that Sunday has involved a lot of sitting around (and drinking of tea)

Another good day eating though (apart from the pineapple cake that sneaked into my basket :o)
I'm hoping I'm much more likely to lose a pound or two if I've been good at the weekend as well as midweek.

Went into a local shop to buy a newspaper, and found I was examining all the chocolate bars...it's like I now feel obliged to look and torture myself before I tell myself "not this month"...what's wrong with me?! I need to only visit shops which don't sell it...well that's the supermarket, the local shops, the petrol station, all out...:rotfl:
    The stuff is everywhere!

    Hi everyone

Hey sparrer - tried some cinnamon on my porridge this morning and it was really good. Thanks for the suggestion :)

    Today

B = Small bowl porridge with cinnamon - yummy !!

L = Grated cheese, tomato and marmite sandwich on Hovis. Dish of blueberries and raspberries with fat-free yoghurt.

T = Roast chicken, two roast potatoes and a pile of steamed vegetables.

Drinks = 4 cups of tea with semi-skimmed milk and truvia sweetener. Lots and lots of tap water. Bottle of sparkling water. 175 ml glass of red wine. One measure of brandy.

Hope you all have a magic Monday

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this here with all you chocoholics, but I don't really like chocolate very much :o. Do you think it would work with my downfall, cheese :D. There used to be a laxative in the form of a bar of chocolate, called Exlax, I wonder if that's what she had...

B - up late so missed
D - roast chicken roast tatties, peas, carrots
T - slice hm wm with butter and Brie, mini apple pie
    S - banana, 3 digestive biscuits
E - none, bellows playing up a bit so gave it a miss

    Sweet dreams :)

eta sorry Lynne I should have explained, I mix the cinnamon and fruit in as I'm making the porridge, not tried it on top but will have to give it a go next time :-)
