Well got through day 2 of no choctober but did have a burger & chips last night in the weatherspoons :( So much for choosing low cal

    Today:
B: 2 seeded toast with marg, 2 boiled eggs
S: Couple fruit polos, mandarins with lf greek yog and sprinkle branflakes
L: 2 cobs with reduced fat coronation chicken and lettuce, erm an egg custard (another birthday here at new work and I don't want to offend ;)) There were loads of elcairs but thought no they got choc on them!
S: Prob nothing but do have a nked bar with me
T: Errrr today just going from bad to worse (we are having a use up day before hols!) 1/2 fray bentos pie, mushy peas and some oven chips
S: Summat that aint chocolate lol

I suspect we'll be using *that* word a lot more than in a normal month :rotfl:

The boxes of chocolates I bought yesterday were priced wrong, I realised the supermarket had overcharged me by £8.50 so had to go back to the shop. Of course it took ages to sort out and I spent it looking at the lovely pictures of chocs on the front of the boxes :o worth it though, I got double my money back, so spent £3.50 and made £8.50 :)

I really really wanted to buy some for myself, it's only the fact I said on here that I wouldn't that stopped me.

Have eaten properly today, chicken, veg and a few roasts for tea.
I hadn't lost anything this morning, so will report tomorrow instead.
Hopefully one more day will make a difference.

Lots of exercise at work, walking as fast as I could because it was raining on me, was very wet by the time I got home. Certainly makes me appreciate a warm dry house to come home to :)

zippy, amazing loss, well done :T

    Good morning x

5.75lb loss for me please thanks knitwitch. Wish every week could be like the first week dieting :D

Hope everyone has a great day x

That's a great loss, well done!

I've managed to end each day under my calorie goal this week, and had another hour and a half at the gym on Wednesday, I've also done a bit of exercise at home, and today I did a couple of hours of gardening, including getting a load of ivy off the back wall, which OH has been going to do for ages, lol! Forgot to weigh this morning so will do it tomorrow.

Tomorrow we are going to the carvery for dinner as it is MIL's friend's birthday, so will probably have a naughty pud, lol! We are planning to go to the gym again on Sunday, so hopefully I will work some of it off, lol!

Sue, that's the most thinly stretched excuse for a birthday meal out I've heard for a while :rotfl:

Sounds like you've had a really good week, bet you have a good loss tomorrow :)

Hope you have a lovely holiday SS x

Well done on a great start kraftykat and nomi :j

Very precise there hitting your target spot on knitwitch well done :)

Hope you see that loss tomorrow Ellie, fingers crossed for you, you deserve it after all the chocolate temptation you've had this this week :A

I say every year I'm not buying the tubs of chocolate again as I end up throwing the flavours no one likes, I have bought some tubs of haribo that were cheap in farmfoods, they all prefer them and I don't eat them so there's no temptation. I'll probably give in and buy some at some point though when they start playing the Christmas songs in the supermarkets and I think aww is not Christmas without some roses, at least with the tubs getting smaller each year it's less calories though :D

We realised in work the other day that's all we do is talk about food all day it's no wonder we're always hungry :o I've started it on here now :silenced:

I'm off out for a meal tomorrow so tried hard not to go too far over today, still managed to though and mfp is still being kind and left my extra 150 calories despite updating my weight so I'm happy while it lasts :D

    B- muesli, milk, flaxseed
    S- seed bar
L- cheese sarnie and protein bar
    S- 2 hot chocs
D- veggie sausages, mash and pile of veg, mini milkybar buttons

Good luck everyone for losses tomorrow x

    Hi Lynne
I'm sorry if my suggestion upset you....please don't feel you have to give up anything!!

I know I can do better and chocolate is my weakness at the minute, everything else I can control with some careful planning lol
Nooo I wasn't upset at your suggestion at all :D

I just know some of my weight is the alcohol, but as I said I look on it as my treat, especially at the end of a looong day, and feel I would lose the will if I give up everything :rotfl:
HELLO ALL (just fancied a shout ;) lol)

kraftykat it's just porridge oats made with water, with cinnamon or mixed spice and dried fruit added. If you use apricots, dates etc, they'll need chopping up but cake fruit is fine. No weights cos I just chuck them in, but not too heavy on the spice as I learned by my own mistake! It's sweet enough not to need sugar unless you have very sweet tooth. hth :)

Well I'm officially a STS, which I'm not very pleased about as I tried this week, and my mfp totals were good (and no choc passed my lips :rotfl:). The scales were flickering, but not really settling any lower :(

Will just have to keep plodding on next week, it's got to come off sometime, right?
