  • Hi all, I'm back from limbo! We got internet this afternoon, so time to get back into the swing of things.

My diet has been ridiculously awful for the last month due to moving and my birthday last weekend. I feel utterly fat now, all my fat clothes look really tight too :( but now all the excuses are out of the way, it's time to get properly on top of my diet again.

Anyway, I've decided the best thing to do is sort of start again, so if it's OK knitwitch, can I change my target to 4lbs for the last few weeks of the challenge, with 0 lost? I need to work out my new routine for weighing myself. I live with the OH now, so our morning routine is having to adapt (obviously now we have 2 people getting up at the same time). I'll work on that!

Hiya everyone and welcome to all the new peoples :hello:

Well I'm back from a super holiday in the sun in Ibiza and thought I would really enjoy the time and my food.

I won't make you all feel hungry but it was sauces with everything, desserts, cooked breakfasts etc and lots to drink. Even had a hm paella at a friend's house - all very yummy but

I have put on 4lbs  Have decided to restart Sunday and see if I can really crank it down again by the end of the challenge fingers xd.

    Hi everyone
I did my circuits class yesterday and it now hurts to type, walk, breath etc :rotfl:It was really hard!
Well done on all the exercise - I just can't get to like gym type stuff :(

L - missed - had a phone call from my granddaughter whose mother took her away from the family 21 years ago, when she was 4. No thought of food right now, far too excited and so looking forward to being reunited with her at the weekend :):):) :)
Gosh sparrer - how exciting !!!! Think I wouldn't be hungry either :)

So today my back is too sore to walk and I'm beginning to panic that I won't be able to keep the weight off.
Hope your back's better now. I have the same problem except it's my knees. When they are playing up I can't use walking as exercise. You could have a punt about on-line to find some other stuff maybe ? :)

So well done all those who have lost weight or STS this week and I will start menu planning and exercising again on Sunday, as out to dinner tomorrow as our last day of holidays :):(

Hope you all have a super weekend

    Morning everyone

    1lb loss again this week.

I'm on 2 weeks annual leave from work now so lets hope I manage to stick to the healthy eating!

I seriously do not need to buy any food other than fresh milk, fruit & veg for a few weeks...while at work the other day I sat and wrote a list of the food in my freezer, showed my friend and she was shocked. I live on my own but apparently I have more in the freezer than she has and they are a family of 4...didn't dare tell her that's only the start of it as I have a cupboard full of tins and an additional stock cupboard upstairs :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi :) a -2lbs loss for me this week please :) I'm so pleased with this result as I have eaten so much soup this week I think I would have been annoyed if I had put weight on instead of losing it

Hope your back is feeling better this morning ellie and welcome to the thread MacaronVanille :)

    Morning all

I'm very pleased to report a 2lbs loss this week. It's been hard going, especially treat night which was last night but I was strong and said no.

Well done everyone, welcome to newbies.

  • Hi. I finally plucked up the courage to get on the scales this morning and have to report a gain of 1.5lbs this week, so not as bad as I expected.
  • Day 1 of being back on track, and I forgot I have lunch with family today. My sister has suggested a lovely cake shop...

Thanks for wishing my back better, it's now back to "normal" pain, so I'm getting about fine :-)

    Welcome MacaronVanille. :)

I am having a day off today as it's my best friend's 30th today and I am making her a cake and taking pizza and junk over to cheer her up (she was expecting a day on her own with baby and no presents as they have had a tough time recently).
    Back at it tomorrow x

That's a lovely thing to do ragz, sometimes there are things just more important then dieting, aren't there. Bet your friend enjoyed it.

I'm a STS again this week, I think I've been this weight for 5 or 6 weeks now. Can I put a positive spin on it by pretending it's just my body getting used to a lower weight, and one day the weight will just start going down again? :rotfl:

Things are still a little bit stressful at home, but have calmed down a lot now, so I'm trying to stop being wound up and *breathe* and *relax*. It's not easy.
Must be grateful that I didn't put weight on over the summer, it would have been very easy to turn to food.

And my local supermarket has that dratted chocolate on special offer again  why can't they reduce broccoli instead?

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
