Hello all, back again I really should stop flirting in and out of this thread. Though I have made a big change not quite OS and have actually joined WW will be my first weigh in tonight, quite sure I've put on weight but I'm looking at a change in mindset more than anything. No point losing weight without changing the way I feel about food as I'll just turn out big again in the end.
Hope everyone is doing amazing!

KnitWitch - Yes please, when does the challenge end? I started Monday so how many weeks from then to the end? I'll aim for 1.5lb a week, so if you can work that into it just put me down for whatever that will be, please.
I do remember a few of you from back then, I started/ran the challenges for a while and came up with the happy smilies for lbs off.... here's hoping I get a few of those myself this month!
Including the weekend just gone, 4 weeks  so do you want 6 lbs?Must use my stash up!0 -
Hi All
Sorry have been AWOL for ages but have been very naughty and not stuck to a thing, not just fallen of the wagon, but been run over by it and now driving it!
Weighed myself today and have put on 2lb so not sure whether to drop out now and rejoin at the next challenge or to stick it out and get back on track?
So sorry to let you all down.
stick with it! there are still 3 weeks to turn it aroundMust use my stash up!0 -
pablakeman wrote: »I am back! Not sure who remembers me. I am a few pounds heavier, one degree up and a job up!
Around exam time I fell off the wagon a bit and this continued in the summer. I started work this week so I am hoping the routine will help me. I need to get back into the habit of logging everything and not just guessing! I am hoping this group will give me a bit of motivation.
So hello again to everyone! I am Paul and I have just moved to Edinburgh to start a graduate scheme (one of the lucky/hard-working graduates who went straight from uni to work!)
Congratulations on the degree and the job!
Oh and are you wanting to join in the challenge?Must use my stash up!0 -
Well, I'm back from a few days in the caravan and I managed to not pig out as much as I would have, but also wasn't terribly good either. Result being I weighed this morning at 188.6lb, so officially 2.2lb off since last monday, (and 2.6lb on since Friday!) but I am hoping some of that will have shifted by Friday.
Today so far (will edit later)
B - 1/4 marmalade sandwich, 1/4 peanut butter sandwich (kids' leftovers!)
S - Pear
L - Bacon and veg wrap.
Not sure about dinner, I stuck a lump of frozen meat from the depths of the freezer in the oven on low with some water, when/if it cooks I'll invent some dinner with it!
Is this or the 3.8 your official weigh in weight?Must use my stash up!0 -

Knitwitch - I'll go for 6lbs target please, can you take my 2.2lb loss as the first one please as the 3.8lb was probably not accurate. When do you do the weigh ins? I'll weigh Mondays and Fridays and just see where we go...

Not a problem, and you can weigh in any day, if you can't do the colour just write Weigh In at the top and then I know!Must use my stash up!0 -
Hello, can I join in please? I used to post on this board and actually lost about 9 stones, but I have gained back three and it's creeping up and up! I don't want to go on a "diet" as such, but I need to get my weight off to have my heart valve repaired or replaced early next year:eek:
I am going to read through the thread and then make a meal plan. I want to lose a stone by the end of September - I reckon that is doable as I can feel that I am carrying a lot of fluid.
I like to cook from scratch and will need to curb my passion for baking!
Tomorrow I plan on having all bran for breakfast, and I am going to make toast with the last of the white sliced bread tonight to get rid of it before I start tomorrow!Jane
