Hello
Please could I join you, I need to lose 1st 2lbs altogether. I see there are five weeks left of the challenge so please could you put me down for 7lbs.
Back to school next week so hopefully cut down on the nibbling!
Looking forward to getting to know you.
PollyHello all!
I too would like to jump in on whats left of this challenge. I have tried many diets all of which resulted in major weight gain when I stopped following them. I have finally learned that nothing beats good old fashioned healthy food choices, portion control and a sensible exercise plan.
I am starting off gentle and aiming for 1lb a week (and hopefully can increase once I am in the swing of it and the new challenge starts)
I do not wish to reveal how much I need to lose at this stage...lets just leave it at "I am horrified with my weight"
Hope you are all well
Mam x

Hi Everyone. Welcome to new people (i still am new!). Well done to everyone for reporting. It means we are trying! My weight loss report - I have lost 4lbs! So happy with this. Need to keep going though and not slip back into old eating habits especially as the season is changing and salads will be less satisfying. I have been pinning lots of vegan one pot recipes to try and avoid cheese as I love it toooo much. Good luck all and thank you to Knit Witch for updating. X0

Welcome to all the new dieters
I second savesummore...you need to be bringing along lots of motivation, with some to spare, because I need some extra too
I have STS again this week. Getting really fed up with this. I decided to try and get my body to lose weight on more than 1200 cals a day, but the body's not playing ball!
I've averaged between 1350 - 1500 cals every day this week, with a walk every day, and still haven't lost anything.
And next week doesn't look good already...I'm away over the weekend, and have a meal out on Monday, so won't be sticking to 1200 cals again.
I'm doing rubbish this challenge
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
I +1lb this week which has really frustrated me. I was hoping to have lost 1/2 stone but instead I'm going backwards2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000

Oh dear it seems we are all struggling at the moment! I thinks its the summer months where yes you do eat lots of salads and go for more walks etc but you also tend to have more days out with treats to temp you then there are the holidays at home or abroad, then the school holidays if you have kids etc
Im just watching 'Fat The fight of my life' to try and get some insperation but all I can think is- oh my life Jessie Pavelka how fit are you!!! DROOL!!! I feel like putting on 10 stone just so I can have him come work me out:rotfl:
Today has started well but wont end that way! Have taken the dog for a very brisk 25 minute walk over to OH work to meet him when he finished at 12 and then we all came back in his car
Today:
B: 2 boiled eggs, 2 seeded bread toasted with butter
S: 1/2 HM flapjack
L: 1 tortilla wrap with lf hummous & grated carrot
S: Maybe some greek yog
T: 1/2 oven pizza, sald & oven chips
The day is likely to go downhill later as we going out for drinks which usually ends up in drunken takeaway on the way home! CBA if im honest but OH has his heart set on a big night out!O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -

I agree, he is gorgeous, and one of the reasons I even watch repeats of that show, lol!
Welcome to all the newbies and well done on the losses, unfortunately I am joining the gainers again this week , having put on 2lbs! Hopefully now all the family birthdays (along with cake and meals out) are out of the way I will start to lose a bit. I mustn't put on any more as, apart from anything else, my new work trousers only just fit me and I don't want to have to get my old ones out again.
OH and I went for a walk on Thursday, which was almost 5 miles, but had lunch of sausage mash and onions in a cafe while we were out, and then had a maltesers lolly on the way home! However we didn't have an evening meal, and just had some fruit and natural yoghurt instead, so for the only time this week I was under my calorie goal for the day.

Hello
Thank you for the warm welcome.
I've eaten a bit too much today but, I have eaten a lot less than I have been eating over the last few weeks.
I've been out for a 20 minute power walk. Due to having a back problem exercise is a bit tricky but I'm going to try a walk everyday.
I need to try my work trousers on tomorrow. I hope they fit, I refuse to buy a bigger size.
Enjoy the weekend.
