I'm posting to confess
a 12 day holiday from work, we didn't go away and deep breath I put on 18lb, I ate a fair bit of chocolate obviously, but 18lb!!!! Scary  I didn't think knitwitch had enough blue smilies for that so I've been good since Monday and I'm now "just" 6lb up since my last weigh in here, think I'll be glad just to end this challenge just to back where I started
thank goodness it was a longer challenge, I'm imagining you all now feeling very :A with your couple of pound holiday gains :rotfl:
:hello: to the newbies and welcome back Molly, good luck all with your goals x
Belated Birthday wishes ssm x
Well done on the losses folks :T congratulations going over your goal tessie :j
Glad you found a flat after minicooper hope the move goes well x
We are trying to eat out of the freezer and cupboards this week I always struggle with this as I like my cupboards looking full and being able to cook whatever I fancy, but we made a big unplanned purchase last weekend so need to be good. Some odd meals ahead this week and a lack of greenery will be a challenge.
B- 2 hot cross buns and butter
L-beans on toast with cheese, 2 squares of chocolate
D- dry roasted potatoes, cabbage, mushy peas, paxo
S- 1 biscuit, hot chocolate and a mini mcvities croissant
Hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday0 -
Nice to see you back Molly41.L - slice of cinnamon cake with Cornish cream
sparrer, that sounds like a lovely lunch
zippy, isn't it shocking how quickly the weight seems to go back on? Like you say, even when just having a "week off" for a holiday. But if you've managed to lose 12lbs already, maybe it wasn't proper fat, just stomach weight or water weight for example?
Last week I was not a good dieter, and the results had me wondering if I'll ever be able to keep it off. I'm now using the excuse that it's good for my metabolism to have a high calorie week now and again
Yesterday I tried to get it all back under control again, and finished the day at about 1500 calories, not quite 1200 but not too bad. I'm getting fed up of the 1200 cal limit anyway, it seems very low compared to what other people on mfp report that they eat.
So it's Monday, and this week will be better. No excuses today, no bank holiday up here
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
I didn't realise not everyone got the same bank hols, I'm in work later I don't mind though because the weather is awful.
Ellie I know so easy to put on and so much work to get off! We are going on a cruise next year, after 2 weeks on board they will be rolling me off down the gang plank :rotfl: I'd lost 3lb I hadn't logged here so its 9lb of water/glycogen weight off I'm guessing and I'm going to have to work the rest offI have to stop yo yoing now, no special occasions coming up so no excuses.
Ellie maybe see if you can lose at 1400/1500, I've changed to that and its much more fun0 -
Thanks ellie, it was naughty but very nice. I'll try not to repeat it too often
B - as yesterday, hm wm toast, butter, hm marmalade
L - rf cheese and crackerbread
D - also as yesterday, roast dinner with a little more chicken added
S - bowl of F&F with ff yogurt for supper. Banana
E - 5x5mins on tm
Have a sunny rest of the day whatever the weather0 -

Hi all
Welcome back Molly
Zippy- wow that must of been a great holiday even if it was at home :rotfl:;) Im too scared to get on the scales at the moment
Ive done abit of baking todayI made a apple and blackberry crumble as we were given the coooking apples for free and foraged the blackberries yesterday then I was going to 'pop to the supermarket' for afew bits of fruit/lettuce but thought I just know id end up buying stuff i didnt need and spending £20! So i decided to use what we have so made flapjacks with dried fruit and a smashed up banana in it as work snacks as other than some sad bananas n a couple of moody apple we have no fruit!
It has not stopped raining today- literally its rained all day  on the plus side me and OH have had a at home day and 'spring' cleaned the house from top to bottom- its literally sparklingSo hopefully that some good cals burnt!
Today:
B: 2 seeded bread toasted with butter, 2 poached eggs
L: Ham & chesse toasted sandwich, packet mini cheddars
T: Salmon fish cake, HM wedges and HG corgettes & green beans lightly fried with a smidge of butter & garlic, spoon hummous & wholemeal pitta bread
S: Apple & blackerry crumble with custard (low fat custard though!:rotfl:)

I think I'll try that zippy. I tried it last summer but panicked when I started putting weight back on and cut down to 1200 cals again.
Today I'm at 1450 cals, had fish and chips for tea, but all weighed and counted. Also had a slice of white bread and butter with it, mmm
Lots of housework, and a 40 minute walk...windy, but no rain!
