Well being back at work has meant that I've been eating a bit better this week, but I've still been over my calorie goal a few days, including yesterday as I was worn out when I got home, could hardly keep my eyes open and so we decided to have a chippy tea! :o It wasn't as bad as it could have been, as OH just got 1 sausage in batter and 1 portion of chips, and we split it between us. We still shouldn't have done it though, as we are going out to the carvery tonight for OH's birthday (and of course dessert is a must, lol!), and we also bought a small chocolate cake earlier, which we will eat over a few days.

I'm very pleased with a 1lb loss this week, much better than putting it on.

Ok, I've found a permanent flat now, and am leaving Perthshire for the slightly less beautiful hills of Glasgow. We've ordered internet, but I'm afraid they can't set it up until the 12th of September, so I'm probably going to have to say cheerio until then!

See you all in a few weeks :)

Hello all, just back home and not so pleased to be here looking at the dust and the long grass, but it'll be good exercise for me. I certainly need it after being waited on for the past week!
Will shop for fresh food tomorrow so I can get back into the swing of things, but for now sweet dreams :)
Hi sparrer - nice to see you are back safe and sound :D

That's strange. Does Perthshire have a 'one in and one out' policy :rotfl:

    Hi everyone

Thanks for the birthday wishes :D

Im not weighing in this weekend as after all the cake, meals out and wine ive treated myself too I probably do weigh as much as an elephant :rotfl:

Im hungover today so feeling sorry for myself and craving cr*p food :o

The only positives of the last few days are Thursday we did loads of walking on our day out plus walked to the pub and back thurs night, Friday we went to the gym, yesterday I went with OH to walk the dog then we walked to the pub and back last night (and to take takeaway shop :o) Today again I have walked the dog with OH and we have picked a massive bag of blackberries whilst out- is it me or are these very early this year?

Have a good Sunday and Bank Hol monday everyone :D

As expected I went way over my allowance yesterday due to our meal at the carvery, but I did only have 1 vodka and diet coke instead of 1 or 2 pear ciders, so it could have been worse, lol! Today OH and I went out for a walk, walked for nearly 2 hours, and according to my tracker I burned 329 calories, which was good, but not so good was the half a kit kat and the magnum infinity ice cream that I ate while out, lol!

    Today:
B bran flakes with sultanas and semi skimmed milk
    L 2 crumpets with aldi's butterly spread
D thin crust pizza with potato skins
S 2 fingers of kit kat, magnum ice cream, choc and fudge cereal bar
E almost 2 hours of walking

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
