I stepped on the scales today for the first time in around 10 days. It was not good. It was very much not good.

I am moving tomorrow, big road trip, and I'm going to eat something on the road, but after that I have no plans for anything untoward for a while, which should help me get back on track.

I don't know if this is a silly concern though. My scales are going to be moving to a new floor, and I hope they're not going to start lying to me if they don't like their new surroundings!

Oh how lovely minicooper, that's a beautiful part of the country. Wave to me as you go by, I cross the A74(M) every day, I expect that's the route you'll be using?

Maybe your scales will like the new floor better than the old? :D

lynnejk, MFP is short for my fitness pal...it's a good site which helps with counting calories and keeping track of your exercise.

I'm talking about anything which isn't food (la la la, not listening... :rotfl:) because I've gone over today...and yesterday...and the day before...

I think I need a little while off, and DS1 is away this week so I'm on my own...and I'm using it as an excuse to have treats and my favourite meals (quiche tonight, then ice cream!)

I did walk for over an hour, and have been doing major cleaning and some furniture moving.
I was in the supermarket (buying my goodies :o) and the checkout girl said to me that she'd noticed that I'd lost loads of weight :)
So we had a lovely chat about diets and clothes.

I know some people don't like people commenting on their weight loss, but I like it! It was hard work losing it, and it's lovely that folk are noticing, in a nice way...all compliments gratefully received :D

    Hi

Thanks ref my neck my collegue said to me today the way I was moving my head I looked like I was out of the monsters TV show :rotfl:
MFP- My Fitness Pal its a free website and also you can get a free app for your phone. Basically you log all your food on there and it adds up all your calories, also you can put in any exercise you have done and it gives you extra calories and if you input your age/weight/lifestyle/how much weight you want to lose it works out what daily calories you should eat- beware though as i think the calories it tells you are far too mean! It suggests to me 1250 cals per day  yet I can eat and still lose at 1600 cals per day

No gym tonight as OH phoned me at work in a panic as we swapped gas/elec supplier last oct and it seems old supplier never sent us a final bill but rather waited until now to send us a final notice for £310 :eek::eek: So I came staright home to go through all paperwork and unfortunatley we do owe them that so this week ive lost 310 £'s

Hopefully ill also lose some lbs as will be skint :(

Cambridgeshire is pretty big though - maybe it wouldn't have worked out anyway :)

:rotfl: I've got 80s CDs in the car just now as well.
Just don't be working out in the car, that doesn't sound very safe :rotfl:

I'm feeling a bit over-full...going for a bath soon, wondering if I'll be able to pull myself out!
