Just find a way to squeeze in 5 minutes. See how many star jumps you can squeeze into an ad break, Jog on the spot while watching TV, or even while drying your hair. Do 100 jumps when you wake up in the morning, or 50 squats before bed. Working in just a little bit is much easier.
Hey thanks a million. Just the kind of thing I could be doing as I go along eh :T
Hi you can get DVD's called soemthing like fit in 5-30 mins and they are workouts that last either 5,10,15 or 20 mins or you can do them all in one go- might be a good starting point?
I do use some on U-T*** but it's just making the time oh dear just prevaricating I suppose :(

    Today
B = Small bowl porridge. One apple.

L = One slice wm bread toasted with scrape of bertolli. Half-tim b.beans and a little grated cheddar. Blueberries and raspberries with fat-free greek yoghurt.

T = One wm sandwich, cheshire cheese and marmite. A tomato and some olives. One conference pear

Drinks = 4 cups of tea with semi-skimmed milk and truvia sweetener. Lots and lots of tap water. Bottle of sparkling water. 175 ml glass of red wine. One measure of brandy

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

Well my gym accidentally cancelled my membership early, so when I went this morning, I couldn't get in initially. Thankfully the guy believed me that I still have until Sunday, and they've updated it. Going to give it a real effort to get the most out of my time left.

Around 45 mins this morning of hybrid exercises

B: Protein bite and some nuts
L: Adzuki bean stew with pita bread
D: HM Chicken Rogan Josh with a bit of rice
S: Veg crisps (all that was going in the canteen, and I was starving), can of alibi, 2 ice lollies

I feel like I've had a bottomless pit for a stomach today, I could have eaten all day long.
After my "weekend off" I just want to eat and eat...I swear my stomach must stretch when I eat more, and now it feels empty!

I've been craving chocolate, to the extent I've not been able to settle all afternoon, been really "antsy", couldn't settle to anything, doing little bits of different jobs and not finishing anything.

Would have helped if I could have got out for a proper walk, but it was cancelled with the rain. Held out and didn't go to the shop, because I knew if I had choc today I'd just want it again tomorrow..it's like an addiction :o

I've counted up, and have had around 1450 cals, so it could be worse. Had a lovely plate of lasagne with a pile of veg, and 2 pieces of garlic bread tonight. There's lots left, so having the same tomorrow night.

With everything that's been going on with family, it just doesn't seem so important to lose weight right now, and I think now that more of my clothes fit the urgency has worn off.
However, I know I've still a way to go, and I'll look a lot better with another stone off, so will keep going :)

Ha ha, for some reason this reminded me of when I was in first year at uni - a few guys I knew were going to Jimmy C's for a buffet lunch the next day, and were talking strategy about how they were going to get the most out of it. They were all going to eat a big meal the night before to stretch their stomachs beforehand.... Yours will shrink again in a day or so!

    Hi all

Not being a very good dieter atm :( last night I had a chicken and rib combo with coleslaw and chips and a small areo bar when home :o

Please see today (its not too pretty)

B: branflakes 35g, berriers, ff greek yog, banana
S: chicken drummer, slimming world bar
L: Massive sub roll with lf cheese spread, ham, small amount of cheese and salad- its home made so I know exactley whats in it
    S: apple
T: Jamie Olivers BBq beans and sweet potatos
S: Who knows- I feel like eating my body weight in chocolate

The only saving grace is I am going to the gym (maybe this is whats making me hungry?) I will more than likely have a protien shake after the gym, then my tea and I will limit any choc to a small bar

Need a kick up the a*se!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi all

S: Who knows- I feel like eating my body weight in chocolate

Is it wrong that I quite like this idea? :rotfl:

The supermarket had sold out of half price popping candy bars today...not that I was buying you understand, just doing a spot of research on the way to the juice aisle :)

I am still hungry, and still very unsettled. Have eaten my lasagne, and at 1400 cals, I'm not having anything else tonight.
It's a case of needing strong willpower to get over these few days of wanting to eat, (I hope it's only going to be a few days!)
I would feel awful if I started putting the weight back on.

Been for an hours walk, and managed to shelter when the rain came on, so all good there. I've not walked often enough lately, that's something else which has fallen by the wayside a bit. I may see if I can put a new battery in my pedometer and use it again.

I do like going to the gym, and that slight feeling of 'good pain' that comes when you know you're building muscle. Sometimes I do wish it was possible to weight lift and still use ones arms normally the next day though!

    B: Protein slice, 3 crackers
L: Adzuki bean stew and pita bread
D: HM Rogan Josh with HM Chapatis
S: Nuts, 2 ice poles, veg crisps (on work wind down treats now!)

I'm afraid to say it's my last day in this job this Friday, and the tradition is to buy cakes for everyone. I'm going to go shopping for them tomorrow, and think it's going to be like a kid in a sweet shop with this weeks pocket money!

I think that's half the problem with me - I don't really like 'exercise' as such and can't stand the gym stuff. I do like walking and try to do at least a couple of miles each day. I have been doing some on-line stuff and have decided to try the aquarobics at the local pool. I quite like the ideas of 5/10 mins here and there so will try to add that in.

Have you tried a glass of water (add a touch of fresh lemon/lime juice for a change). I think lots of people think they are hungry when their body is saying they are dehydrated ;) and I definitely find it helps.

    Today
B = Half a grapefruit. Small bowl porridge.

L = One small avocado plain. Tinned sardines on wm toast. Blueberries and raspberries with fat-free yoghurt.

T = One wm sandwich with tinned tuna. A tomato and some olives. One conference pear

Drinks = 4 cups of tea with semi-skimmed milk and truvia sweetener. Lots and lots of tap water. Bottle of sparkling water. 175 ml glass of red wine. One measure of brandy
