Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Just popping in to say hi to everyone. Meals are erratic atm, I have tried to eat sensibly but not really hungry. I've been picking at pie, chocolate, all the things I shouldn't and know my weight has gone up because my fav trousers are getting too tight now. DM's funeral is on Tuesday so I really must start to make an effort after that, and to get back to posting daily. There just seems to have been such a lot to do, going to Reading and Henley almost every day is tiring but thank goodness it's not for much longer.

Lovely to read your posts, I'm trying to catch up and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. Take care n God bless :)

    Afternoon peeps

Haven't been online much last 2 weeks but have been reading your updates when I can.

Sorry to hear your news Sparrer, hope everything is ok on Tuesday x

I've managed another 2lb loss this week.

I'm sick to the back teeth of salad so I'm having a break from it this coming week...have been shopping and bought some lettuce to go in wraps but that's the only salad item in my basket!

Went through my freezer last night and realised I had no HM ready meals left  have loads in the freezer like joints of meat, mince, sausages, frozen veg etc so I've been a busy bee and made a chilli and some butternut squash soup, I'm going to make a sweetcorn chowder tomorrow...I realise these are more like autumn/winter meals however its what I'm craving so may aswell make use of the food in the freezer.

Hope everyone is well and I will try to pop back in a few days :)

sparrer, hope everything goes okay on Tuesday.
I don't know ellie - I think we all might have a case of the summer blues or something, I think a few people are a bit like you at the moment. It must be the time of year or something...

Think you're right minicooper, it's certainly grumpy season here :o
I was out working from 7.30 until 5 pm today, with only a ten minute break to eat some cheese and pickle sandwiches, and got home to find I was expected to feed people...found myself wishing someone would look after me for a change! My back was aching, so just stuck fish and chips in the oven, I wasn't very hungry so only had half the fish.
Also wishing my mobile would "break" for a few days!

So not a bad day foodwise, had about 1700 cals, but been very busy so hopefully it will even itself out. Not had any wine, too tired to be bothered. :)

(also feeling a bit of a fraud...several times I've met friends, and they say "oh you've lost more weight", and I really haven't!)

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
  • Booked myself a back/shoulder massage yesterday, but decided I really ought to go to the gym beforehand. I thought I should avoid any exercises involving for my upper half, so I focused on leg movements. I didn't think I had done that much, but today I could barely sit down!

Here's hoping it counteracts drinks last night. We went to a choir concert, bumped into a friend of my my housemates, and it turned into an impromtu night out, ending at 4am with chips and cheese. I will have a few more nights like this in the next weeks...
