Well tomorrow I'm off for a long weekend, signing the lease on our new flat on Saturday, wedding Sunday, then Monday I'll be on the train all day (7 hours I think).
Very sad that I haven't managed to miraculously lose 4 stone before seeing all my old uni friends again, but that's life! Next time...
I have a feeling it's going to be hard to lose anything over the next couple of months, as I'll be moving, will start living with the OH again (which will mean bad food sneaks in), but our new flat will be about 500m from a really great gym, so I can start going a lot more!0 -
The 2 lbs I put on last week have departed again, and they've taken a friend with them...so I have lost 3 lbs.
This means I've now lost 3 stone, and that my BMI is normal...I'm normal at last, yes I am, really...:rotfl:
I'm going to celebrate by throwing out my too large kn!ckers, you know, the supermarket multi pack. There's a fine line between comfy and baggy, and I think I crossed it some time ago. I'll miss them.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
oh, and re finding your motivation...
I was reading a blog yesterday, and she said when people asked what her motivation for losing weight was, she said "I'm tired of being fat".
That says it all really, if we're tired of being fat, we need to change things, whether we can do it fast or slow, because what's the alternative?

Did not sleep well at all last night. The flat we were going to sign a lease for on sat fell through (landlord pulled out and decided to let to someone he knew), and I ended up awake at 4am stressing. I'm visiting the new city on Saturday morning, and the next time I'm there will be when I move on the 18th. At this rate I'm going to have to move in with my parents for a few weeks while I flat hunt, which is going to be a big stress on top of the new job
I did weigh myself, and found my 2 lbs came back. I think it's worse because I'm stressing and haven't slept.0 -

I'm in the 'baggy knickers' stage but not quite ready for the next size down:D Hopefully not far to go but a sts for me this week
I know losing weight is worth it in the end but I feel very unmotivated just about now. I've lived on yoghurt and salads this week and nothing to show for itI don't know if my gallbladder problems have anything to do with it but it seems unfair that there's no result on the scales.
Ah well. Hope there are plenty of lovely losses for you all to report today.

I suppose that's why I keep going ellie as I no longer want to be fat. I'm not going to give up and go back to what I was so will keep chipping away at that last stubborn bit!
Sorry to hear the new flat didn't work out mini Hopefully you will find somewhere else quite soon fingers crossed2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000 -

Oh that's bad news minicooper, just what you didn't need!
Looking on the bright side, I'd think you'll now be really attractive to landlords, because you're ready to move fast, they won't have to wait on a tenant giving a months notice on their old place.
Hope you find something even better really soon.
