Sue...size 8s!!! :T
Well done you, you must be "proper slim" now
My scales are desperately crying out for new batteries (LO LO LO :rotfl:)...I'm scared to put new ones in, in case the new ones decide the old ones weren't weighing me heavy enough...is this normal?
:rotfl::rotfl:Yes perfectly normal
Im wondering if all this vanity sizing is having an effect on the obesity rate as people are think well im still the same clothes size now as I was 10 years ago although im x amount heavier or thinking well im a 16 when really that is an old size 20 etc
I worked hard in the gym last night and although ache a little its nothing like when I first started (crawling upstairs on my hands and knees!)
Today:
B: 2 boiled eggs, 1 toast, marg
S: small banana, ff greek yog, strawberries and kiwi
L: HM ham & rice salad, red grapes
S: apple maybe 2
T: HM carbonara (very little cheese/no cream) with smokey bacon and some roast veg
S: Sw bar/small choc
Good luck Zippy!

Ladies, you have no idea just how much willpower I had to use today
Had a very stressful afternoon lying on beds in the bed shop pretending I was able to tell which one would be best...the bed I bought is not suitable and the shop offer a mattress exchange, but only once, so this is my last chance to get it right. The shop was really hot, and no other customers in, so just me and the sales assistant, felt so uncomfortable! Shopping's meant to be fun ,but not for beds.
Came out of the shop and went into b and m's next door, and was faced with rows and rows of chocolate bars and sweets...cheap jelly babies mmm, chocolate and more chocolate! to say I was tempted was the understatement of the century!
I still don't know how I walked by it all, I think I really want a good result this weekend. In the car I succumbed to a 99 calorie biscuit, at least it was better than a large bar of choc.savesummore wrote: »Im wondering if all this vanity sizing is having an effect on the obesity rate as people are think well im still the same clothes size now as I was 10 years ago although im x amount heavier or thinking well im a 16 when really that is an old size 20 etc
I think you're right...it's one thing saying the average UK size is a 16, but if a 16 keeps getting bigger who are we kidding?
Thought of going into matalan when I was out just to see what size I was in therebut my back was hurting too much after all the bed testing so I didn't bother.

Wow it's falling off you Emily, well done on your 4lb loss :j
Ellie hope this mattress is the "one" it must be a nightmare, it's not something you can really tell in the shop is it, esp when someone is watching you....and well done resisting temptation, always harder when it's a bargain
Thanks for the interview well wishes, they worked as it went okmuch better than last time, no idea if it was good enough, but I was much more relaxed than last time and actually enjoyed the team bit and usually I'm shy for standing up and talking in front of a crowd. It's something else I've done out of my comfort zone and survived
I know what you mean Ellie there's lots of benefits to having two part time jobs, I do like the variety and I don't get bogged down when there's dramas going on as I'm not there enough to get involved etc.
I had my free cake in John Lewis today, I had good intentions of having a fruit tartlet, but decided they probably aren't as innocent as they look with all that pastry so it was ok to have what I really wantedso had the carrot cake with its mega calories and then had a light dinner tonight to compensate best I could
B- one slice toast and butter
L - carrot cake
S- protein bar, Apple
D- mixed salad and salad cream light, 1 tasteless value rich tea biscuit, no idea why DH eats so many, there's more taste in cardboard I'm sure. Think I'd better stop being a cheapskate and buy him to some decent ones
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday x0 -

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to start this week. Over the last two days I have worked so hard so that I can have the rest of the week off. I worked 12.5 hours yesterday and I still have some more to do this morning before DD and I depart for our girlie mini break. DH has been a star helping out, but he's also been doing the catering and nothing healthy has been produced
Oh well, I am aware of it at least.
I will report back in a few days.If Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters0 -

Deary me, I think I'm stressed and I don't know it! I don't feel very stressed, but I do have a lot to be stressed about, which I'm hoping is why I feel tired and hungry and am craving a lot of processed things.
I was reading yesterday about a guy who is running the marathon in the commonwealth games who was overweight, and just woke up one morning and decided to start running. Wish I could get that sort of motivation!
Off to go look for it...0
