    B - none
D - curried chicken, rice and salad a la Mr S
    T - maybe a banana, they're getting speckledy
    S - grapes
E - been trying to get back into a routine on the treadmill though it's difficult when I'm out every day. Managing a min of 3 x 6 mins a day though so better than nothing

Have a good rest of the day :)

Oooh this sounds nice - any chance of the recipe?

I took the idea from the good food website, but I adapted it a fair bit for ingredients I had in the cupboard that needed used up (chorizo, celery)

    Good Food: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1851651/aduki-bean-stew

    Mine:
    200g Adzuki beans, soaked overnight

Fry a spannish onion, a couple of cloves of garlic, 1 diced pepper, around 50g (I think) of chorizo, and 100g of sliced mushrooms, fry them all together until soft. Add a carton of Passata and the adzuki beans, and stew for around 45 minutes. Slice up 2 sticks of celery and add to the pot, crumble in a beef/veg stock cube, add basil to taste. Add water if it thickens too much, or add puree if it's too thin!

You can leave out the chorizo, it would taste fine without! I just tossed it in to avoid waste. You should get enough for a generous 5-days worth of lunches with 200g of beans.

Mmm - that's a good idea! My sister will make this up and make something a bit like a lasagne using layers of potato and aubergine (with a little cheese grated on top). All far too hot for this weather, but aubergines are in season just now!

I was away last week and one of the specials in the bar was a Tofu and Aubergine goulash and it was SCRUMMY and I want the recipe (or may try and figure something similar out :p)

Wasps are the one thing I will kill...I'm quite happy to carry big spiders outside and open windows for flies to escape, but when a wasp is bothering me I'll stomp on it or whack it with a newspaper. I'm allergic to their stings and swell up something awful...a sting on the foot meant I couldn't wear shoes at work, and one on the inside of my mouth (it was on my sandwich) was not a pretty sight, (and really painful!) Wasps are evil.
I like your style ;) Although on the rare occasions I do housework if it's vigorous I do class it as exercise, do others?

I don't class housework as exercise, but then I never build up to vigorous, more of a continuous potter lol.

Behaved myself much better yesterday, no extras, no takeaway, no wine. Did have quiche though, and will be finishing it today. It's a good job I don't mind the same meal two days in a row.

Hoping for a good week...my walking friend has decided this week that she is going to make a huge effort with her dieting (impending wedding), and I hope the dieting talk will help keep me motivated, I'd really like to get into the next jeans down, they zip up but are still too tight.

Well, I'm off for a day of "continuous pottering".

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
