ellie hope your personal issues are starting to ease a little! Comfort eating is a tough one... can you find anything healthy to comfort yourself with? I like to indulge on frozen raspberries or grapes (though sometimes only chocolate will do...)

I have to work on running my cupboards down - I am starting to regret stocking up on so many healthy dried beans! My meal plan for the next week looks like:

    Lunches: aduki bean stew
Dinner: mixed bean chilli with added kidney beans

I bet my OH will be glad we're long distance and he doesn't have to share a bed with that! :rotfl:

Oh my goodness, my mother commented that I'd lost a lot of weight today!!!

This is the woman who continually offers me biscuits and cakes, and doesn't understand me turning them down. Her comment wasn't praising or critical, just a factual "you've lost a lot of weight".

It's only taken over 18 months and 40 lbs lost :rotfl:

Keeping well away from the takeaways this weekend.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

My housemate and I have both got really bad headaches today. I wonder if we have a thunder storm on the way or something... But it's got me feeling sorry for myself! And now I really want something sweet.

    Today I have eaten:

    Lunch: pasta with chorizo sauce
    Snack: Cheese roll
Dinner: sausage sarnie with HM wedges, roast pepper and roast kohl rabi.

S: I've had 3 Ice lollies, 4 small crackers, half a flapjack. I am craving something sweet...

Thanks ellie. I hope there's a light at the end of your tunnel, too

Day 5 of 5, I can eat tomorrow! Woohoo!!! :j:j:j:j:j

    B - cup of tea
S - met a friend for a cup of tea, and watched her eat my biscuit. I love those little cellophane wrapped biscuits some places give you
L - Mulligatawny soup with 1/2 slice bread broken up in it
    T - as lunch
S - smoothie, fennel tea, water
E - gardening, 4x5 mins on tm. Must think of a name for it, can't keep calling it tm. That's like calling a cat, 'cat' ;)

    Sweet dreams :)

Please check your boiler for a carbon monoxide leak. It's very unusual for two people in the same house to get a bad headache at the same time.

thanks dandy-candy - I don't think it likely we have a carbon monoxide problem, we had the same thing around 3 weeks ago as well, and the headaches will come on at work or at home. I think we're both just sensitive to a certain crop in the area or something...
