It's my dad's funeral today, dreading it, but I'll be glad when it's over so I'll have time to start grieving properly.

    (((((hugs))))) Sue
Part 1 was to start making sure I get enough sleep, so I had a strict 10pm bed time (up at 6). My housemate has invited friends round for (loud) drinks tonight. The rest of the household has work tomorrow, and we're not very happy about it at all

    minicooper, I'd be mad too!
I have to get up very early on work days, and my DSs keep very different waking hours to me, so I end up only getting about 6 hours sleep if I'm lucky. There are nights I think "all I want is an empty house with no-one wandering about" :rotfl:

And apparently it's a proven fact that if you're sleep deprived you'll eat more and find it harder to lose weight!

Well my scales have been going between 2 weights all week, so I'm going to stick with the higher of the two (give me a head start for next challenge!)...so I'll declare a STS.

It just all seems so slow, but I keep reminding myself that as long as I lose *something* on each challenge then my weight is still going down.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

I got 5 hours in the end. They were still at it at midnight, when I just passed out with tiredness. They went out after that, and came home at 4.45, waking us up when they got back. I was then too annoyed to get back to sleep before the gym at 6!

I did try zippy's protein bar offering today, and am sold on them. I bought one as I left the gym, ate it on the way to work and felt too full for breakfast. My colleague brought cookies in for their last day, and when they offered them round at 10.30, my stomach just went 'nope, I'm full, I don't want any cookies' (an absolute first), and I picked at half my breakfast over the rest of the morning instead. Only problem was, I didn't realise until after that they were milk protein, and I was allergic to milk protein as a child. I went to Tesco for some soy ones on the way home.
