zippy, thanks for the info, I think I'll try the bars (though like you say, not easy to fit in when trying to stick to 1200 cals)

I'm not vegetarian, but often have days without meat. There's nowhere in my town to buy them though, so will have to wait until I'm in a bigger town, or order online.

Decided to have ham salad tonight...before weigh in tomorrow! Went to make it, and discovered DS1 has eaten all the ham...so replaced it with grated cheese :o, not exactly the best choice. Still at 1200 cals though, just had to do with out the choc mousse I'd planned to have.

Good luck with the last weigh in this weekend everyone.

Knit Witch, can you put me down for 9 lbs for the next challenge please. Thank you :)

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

I'm quite intrigued to try them myself - they sell them in Holland and Barratts, and they now have them as well as the shakes in my local Tesco. My gym stocks them, so I might try one tomorrow morning instead of breakfast...

Oh I hope you like the bars now, my DD thinks they are awful, but I'm obviously not fussy as I've liked everyone I've tried :D I wouldn't use them as meal replacements though mini cooper as there's no other nutrients in them like you would get in food, I think of them as freddo replacements lol.

I was out for lunch so tried to pick what looked like the lowest calorie cake, a fruit custard tartlet, I'll just hope that tiny bit of fruit cancels out the butter pastry case

    B- muesli, skimmed milk
    S- protein bar
    L- fruit tart
S- kiwi fruit, freebie ice cream sample
D- salad, quiche, new potatoes, half a wrap, light salad cream, Chutney
    S- 1 cookie
    E- loads of walking

    Guessing 1500 calories

Elona my dd thinks you have to go to the gym to exercise too, I do point out she drives there when it's just down the road lol. I just walk, that's the only exercise I do as its free and easy to fit in.

No - I'm not going to have them as a meal replacement, but my breakfast for after the gym tomorrow was going to be crackers and a piece of fruit (not a lot), so I'll have one of the bars as well.

Another moan I'm afraid: I had worked out an action plan today to help kick start my weight loss again. Part 1 was to start making sure I get enough sleep, so I had a strict 10pm bed time (up at 6). My housemate has invited friends round for (loud) drinks tonight. The rest of the household has work tomorrow, and we're not very happy about it at all

I haven't posted in ages as I had been sts for so long that I got totally disheartened. However....I have now finally lost weight again! So it's -1lb for me, not huge but I'm happy :)

I'm working to avoid anything made by adding sugar so cakes, biccies etc are out, but naturally sweet things like bananas or a drizzle of honey on my yogurt are allowed. Hopefully the scale will be my friend again!
