Oh dear ellie :rotfl::rotfl: I know what you mean - it's shocking sometimes to try to lift the weight you've lost - when I went to SW, they passed around a box that weighed a stone  Poor joints...

Made up a nice fruit salad and watched last weeks dispatches 'breadline kids', kids stories of their families pushed to using food banks. Makes me feel quite guilty that I eat too much...

and *zippy*, good luck with your job interview, which day is it?

Thanks for the well wishes Ellie. It's tomorrow, mid morning :) I've never had a proper interview, I've always had casual type chats so hope they go easy on me, mind I'm thankful it's not one of those group interviews that seem popular now. Hopefully nerves will burn enough calories for tea and cake in John Lewis :D

Mini Cooper fingers crossed for you too x

I've had one of those days and made the mistake of making cakes, I had to try them then of course  I was glad when I came home from work most had been eaten.

B-cereal, milk, Flaxseed, slice wholemeal toast, butter, rhubarb jam
    S- banana cake
L-no lunch break so a protein bar and boss bought me a smoothie from McDonalds
S- few dried dates, 2 rice cakes
D-hm chickpea and tomato soup, few slices hm wholemeal bread, banana cake, booja truffle

Oh well I enjoyed it all at least :D

    Hope today went well Zippy!

A new organic veg box arrived today. I need to figure out something to do with Kholrabi, artichokes and chard. Anyone ever used them before? I also have a huge bag of broad beans, which I think I'll cook up with soy beans to make lunches for next week.

I made a chard and new potato curry tonight (quite nice, the chard is a bit like spinach), which will do tomorrow too.

Thanks for the well wishes, I got there nice and early and they called to cancel, I have to do it all again next weds now.

I had my tea and cake though, but logging it later was shocked to discover how many calories they can pack into a carrot cake, a slice in m&s cafe is 825 so guess john lewis is similar as it was a nice big slice  1700 calories again, I'll be glad if it's a sts this week.

B- 2 slices of wholemeal toast, butter, jam
    L- cake
D- leftover soup, 1 slice of bread
    S- booja truffle, 2 dates

MC I bought broad beans this week, I was going to do jamie Oliver's posh beans on toast, but ended up making soup with them. Riverford have some nice recipes on their website for the veg in their boxes, you might find some ideas on there.

B - croissant, rf spread, marmalade
    L - missed
D - korma, peshwari naan, chutney
S - pack of mini Cheddars, 1/2 pack polo mints while driving
E - none, left at 7am to get to DB then on to hosp to visit DM so a 220m round trip on 3 of the worst (slowest) mways in the world. Not long home, exhausted zzzzzzz

zippy, we need a deflating smiley, what an anti-climax for you!

and  to the cake, that is truly shocking, 825 cals!!!

I'm way over today, I was out for a meal, so no idea how much over, but a lot. I had (whisper it) chocolate gateau and ice cream :o,
it was verrryyyy sickly but I perservered and managed to finish it :rotfl: (well, I don't get out very often!)

Just unfortunate that it was so close to weigh in.

Must be off to bed, only 6 hours til I have to be up again.:(
