and I notice you're doing really well this challenge :D

well, I've really pressed the big red self destruct button tonight...over the last 18 months I've become much more aware of my health and what I should be eating, but tonight I've reverted...I've had a takeaway pizza and a glass of wine, while watching an old re-run of the Biggest Loser...what's that all about? that's the sort of thing I'd have done in the past!

I have some long term niggling worries with family right now, but nothing I can do anything about, which is hard. Also feeling very anxious about a hospital visit I should do tomorrow. But I must not..will not use that as an excuse to overeat any longer. Today will be a one-off!

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Don't know what came over me last night...okay, I still have takeaway now and again, but I don't do the whole "takeaway, wine, chocolate, and dieting videos to make me feel bad" thing any more!
I went to bed feeling yuck, overfull, stodgy, a bit wibbly with the wine, and really annoyed with myself...the "treat" foods obviously didn't end up being a treat, did they?!

So I'm writing Saturday off and starting again today :)

I took a good look at myself in bed this morning, and realised just how much more weight I need to lose. I can tell myself I look better standing up, but seeing it when lying on my side is  (there was a purpose to this activity, I'm thinking of going bed shopping, and am self conscious about lying down on a bed in the shop :o)

So that image in my head is focusing my mind, I don't know yet what I'll eat today, but I promise it will be moderate :)

ellie you're not alone - I used to dig out a tub of ice cream to eat in front of the biggest loser! You have the right attitude about it though; you had a not so good day, but you've drawn a line under it and moved on. :T

I've had a fairly fit weekend - swimming yesterday, an hour and a half at the gym today. Did a full body workout, but left when I started to feel a bit self conscious that I smelled a bit sweaty (did the floor go empty because everyone left for lunch, or was it because I needed a shower...?)

I also managed to resist sticking bad things in my basket at the supermarket after the gym, even though I was starving. I took some time to find something healthier to nibble on, and came out with some olives.

    Today I'm having:

    Lunch: stuffed artichokes
    Snack: buttered roll
Dinner: chard soup (chard, chickpeas, coconut milk)
    Snack: banana and berry smoothie
