    B - missed
    D - ham, egg,chips
T - 2 croissants with peanut butter, apricot jam
    S - banana
E - none. Had to go to Reading as DM has been taken into hospital, her GP found her confused and bewildered on a house visit this morning. Not her at all, she's usually bright and alert (93 going on 63) but a change of meds by a young GP on a work placement has caused chaos, so hopefully the doctors will be able to stabilise her.

    have a good evening :)

A very long day. Up at 5, 8 hours of travelling, 2 job interviews, home at 10. Ate a lot today, purely for the energy! Bonus points if it was cool...

Committed to going to the gym tomorrow though, and at the very least I did a lot of walking today!

sparrer, hope your DM is back to her old self soon.

minicooper, fingers crossed with your job interviews!

and *zippy*, good luck with your job interview, which day is it?

emily jackson, see you're still having lots of weetabix :)...I ate weetabix every day when I was pregnant with DS1, I can't face it now...eating it then throwing it back up every day has put me off for life :rotfl:

I'm just plodding along this week, eating properly, and having a walk every day...really hope it shows on the scales at the end of the week.

Of for a walk now before I get down to some paperwork and housework (it's all boring stuff today!)

Made it to the gym this morning, proud of myself. Tomorrow is a day off, then Friday I'll go for a swim.

I feel ravenous today, although I've eaten well. I was hoping to do some over time tonight, but had to come home as I was too hungry... I had a home made bircher for breakfast, chicken wrap for lunch, stir fry for dinner, and snacked on around 5 dried apricots, 8 crackers and a nectarine.

All else fails, I have lots of fruit to make a fruit salad for dessert...

Thanks ellie :), tests show she probably has a uti as well as confusion caused by meds. They hope she'll be home in a few days, I do too as it must be the most difficult hospital in UK to find a parking place!

B - croissant with rf spread and marmalade
    L - garlic mushrooms, 1 egg omelette
D - 1/2 salmon fillet, tiny jacket, fresh cooked beetroot and cucumber
    S - banana, apple, grapes
    E - 5x6 mins on tm

    Have a good evening :)

Feeling nicely full of fish and chips :), but all calorie counted and allowed!

Had some encouragement today...DS2 visited with dog, and decided to weigh the dog on my scales (don't ask!)...well, she weighed 3 stones. I'm just 3lbs away from losing 3 stones...I didn't want to lift her up with my sore back, but DS lifted her onto my knees on the chair, and even that felt really heavy!
I just cannot believe that I was carrying that amount of extra weight around all the time, she was really heavy! (sorry, have I mentioned she was heavy...:rotfl:)

It was a real eye opener to the difference we're all making by losing weight.

Well I don't know about that sparrer, I once collected a friend from a hospital in Glasgow, and there was no parking at all, none! How was I meant to pick up a poorly person who couldn't walk far? I had to flash my winning smile at the doorman, and act like the country bumpkin I was :D, and he let me leave my car at the door for a few minutes. I couldn't believe I'd driven such a long way, and there was nowhere to stop when I got there :rotfl:

and I've just remembered...he had a procedure done in the theatre which meant he had to lie completely flat afterwards...but he was tall and he was longer than the lifts, so they had to fold him up to fit him in the lift, you couldn't make it up!
