Had a naughty day yesterday...massive carb/junk overload
B Nothing
L Pork & mustard in a Ciabatta
T 2 panini fish finger sandwiches
S :eek: bag chocolate peanuts, bag of Nachos, 560ml bottle of cider
So today I'm back to being good as no more bread in the house and have eaten all the junk up last night
Made a cauliflower, sweet potato and chick pea curry yesterday in the slow cooker and it tasted yummy when I tested it, so that's my lunch sorted today (and tea for the rest of the week probably seeing as I made so much of it :rotfl:)0 -
Oh dear, I was on track for a really good day yesterday, and then I blew it
I'd planned to have beans and toast for tea because I was too tired to be bothered cooking (so tired I managed to spill a cup of tea over myself!)...but then DS1 phoned and said he was bringing food home, he brought me a fish supper, so I had that instead.
And it wasn't even nice, it tasted of cardboard, surely fish should taste of *something*? So today my stomach feels yucky and grumpy from the greasy meal, I should remember that next time I fancy a takeaway!
I went to bed at 8pm to read and try and catch up with sleep, but that didn't work either...DS telling me things, then deciding to hoover out his car, then a friend phoning...may as well have stayed up :rotfl:
I've a couple of meals out planned for next week, so I'll try to be good today in advance. Have no idea yet what I'll eat today, wasn't even sure if I felt like breakfast at all, but I managed to force it down, I'm made of strong stuff :rotfl:
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Ellie you made me laugh, same here I ate a load of chocolate last night and woke up feeling sick and stomach ache, then stood there complaining to DH while munching my toast, nothing makes me miss a meal0

Well surprisingly, after a week of illness, I am an STS this week.
OH visited this weekend, so we had a couple of meals out to round it all off. I also have a fairly busy week ahead, so just don't know how healthy I'm likely to be. However, the meals I am cooking at home will be healthy, and I am going to make it back to the gym after a week and a half off due to stomach, hospital appointment and OH visiting.
I came across a nice dress in a charity shop earlier (£15, Rocha John Rocha, original tags still on), which I decided to buy for a wedding in August. It fits, but it's just a little snug (you can see the sticky outy bits). However, making the dress feel more comfortable will be a good target over the next 6 weeks.0 -
I have a decision to make - do I
A) go for a walk, which *will* mean I go to the supermarket and buy chocolate?
orstay at home and get no exercise, but remain chocolate-free?
and before you suggest it, there is no option C, the call of chocolate is so strong today that I definitely would go to the shops if I step foot outside the house

You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din :rotfl:
I just know I would've gone for a large bar today
Anyway, chocolate overload averted, I stayed at home, I figured that was the lesser of 2 evils! I've had comfort food for tea, beans on wholemeal toast, and custard with raspberry jam swirled through...the days calories are still ok though.
I don't know why I'm so tired these last few days, but I don't like it! The most energetic thing I've done today is holding the bin bag while a friend dug up some of my plants to put in his garden
