Okay, I've got to ask tessie bear, what's the suns football feast?...I'm imagining beer and burgers :rotfl:

    northwest1965, that's sounds like a great trip, I'm envious :D

I've had another good day today, I really want to see a loss this week, so I'm being strong willed about snacks and treats, haven't had any all week. Been for a walk, and done some pottering in the garden.

Tried a pair of size 12 next jeans on last night, and they fit!!!
(okay, I know that's more to do with the vagaries of next's sizing than my dieting...there's no way I'm a size 12 ...but it's nice even if I am kidding myself :rotfl:)

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

I had a hospital appointment down in London today, pre-booked my tickets ages ago, allowing for the hospital to be running late, a long appt and a long wait in the pharmacy, and then allowing half an hour for lunch. In the end, the Dr saw me 30 mins early, the appt only lasted 30 mins, and the pharmacy only had a 20 min wait, so I had just under 3 hours to kill!

I spent most of it walking up and down the Thames (so mega exercise points), but all the lovely little London eateries just seemed to call my name. I had:

    Croissant (breakfast)
    Tuna melt (lunch at 11)
Lamb samosa (second lunch at 12)
    Bran muffin (train ride)
4 chocolates (Hotel chocolat in the station)
and then I had a veg stew for dinner.

    :o

Ellie sorry to hear about the spine problems, what about swimming or aqua aerobics something gentle and cushioning? Also if it says 12 on the label then it is a 12 enjoy it!
I don't do any exercise apart from walking as my weight puts pressure on my knees so can't jog, I do like swimming, but money is always a hurdle and walking is free, and as the weather is lovely atm walking it is! Just wish the scenery was nicer (I live in a city)
northwest have lovely time, sounds fab, my Aunt is currently on a cross America holiday on a Harley, she's been gone about 3 weeks now and having a whale of a time.

Weigh in for me today knit witch and it's -5lb can hardly believe it!
I go to weight watchers every Thursday (but don't pay as I help out at the meeting) so the scales are pretty accurate, just hope it doesn't catch up with me next week as meal out on sunday for Fathers Day.

    Today
    B. 3 crumpets, no sugar jam
    L. 2 warburton thins, ham, lettuce, l/f crisps and a nectarine.
    D. Brown rice with broccoli
    S. Muller l/f yog
May have a couple more crumpets if I'm hungry later with some marmite.
Did 10584 steps and cut the grass!

    Sirens..5lb off, well done :T :T :T

At the risk of sounding negative, swimming is not for me. I haven't been in a pool since I was 11, and have no wish to go back!
I'm an earth sign, and like my feet firmly planted on the ground :D
The best I can manage when it comes to water is getting my face wet in the shower, and even then I keep a towel handy in case it gets too wet :rotfl:

I'll stick to walking in moderation.

Back from a week of delicious Croatian cuisine, plenty of fish and salads but don't think all the ice creams have helped me lose any weight :o. It was a nice feeling to wear all size 12's though, something I couldn't have done on my last holiday in March.

B - banana with Greek yogurt
D - Korma, naan, chutney. Kulfi
T - 2 hm wm rolls, one with hm pate, one with Vegemite
S - snack bag mini Cheddars
    E - 5x5 mins treadmill
