Breakfast: 2 Weetabix, banana, juice
Lunch: KFC chicken wrap, apple, Pepsi Max
Tea: 2 Weetabix, apple, juice
Supper: orange, Chomp bar, juice
Exercise: went to the gym
Am going to a carers conference tomorrow, but am taking a packed lunch so hopefully I won't get tempted by the buffet. I'm also going to try a recipe for a wrap either tomorrow or Thursday, I'm going to try some baked potato/pasta salad/more soup/ sandwich/wrap recipes as I know eating Weetabix for a meal other than breakfast isn't nutritious. I tried making a tuna potato salad yesterday, but it wasn't good0 -
My stomach still doesn't quite feel right. I'm no longer sick, but my stomach is not happy with food yet. I feel a little like I've been on antibiotics, you know where your stomach feels a bit like it doesn't have any acid in it?
It has not helped my weight loss... 2lb gain this AM :eek:0 -
minicooper, hopefully the gain's just temporary, ans will be gone by the weekend.
Okay, I know I'm being a bit obsessive and slightly nerdy today (actually I was reading a thing on mfp about doctors wanting the overweight to lose 10% of their weight)...but I've worked out that I've lost 20% of my highest bodyweight so far!
If (correction, when) I get to my target I'll have lost over a quarter of my bodyweight  that's about a whole leg :rotfl:
Go on, work yours out, you might give yourself a nice surprise
zippy, I'd love to hear your percentage!

I noticed you've said a couple of times that things you tried making didn't turn out well. I don't like cooking and am quite lazy at trying new things, but I've seen some really nice things on some of the online recipe sites. Have you tried any of them?
I've been on allrecipes. co. uk, goodtoknow. co. uk, and bbcgoodfood. com.
(do I have to admit some of my saved recipes are for cake?)

hi just my two penneth on home made food....if you have eaten ready meal type stuff i thinkyour taste buds get used to it so homemade with less/no salt etc can taste wrong if that makes sense...might be nothing wrong with the home made just need to get used to it...hope that makes sense

Well done Ellie :T
I've lost 45% of my body weight since last year, from my highest weight it's 47%just 1 or 2 % still to go, that sounds motivating putting in percentages.
I'm so excited I have an interview the end of next week for a full time job, I have a nice fitted dress for the interview so it's good motivation to try and shift a pound before then, I'm still undoing the damage from a naughty weekend though
Emily I use bbcgoodfood mostly, because you can read the reviews and check it's an ok recipe before you make it and they give you the calories. Cooking is trial and error so stick with it and you will find things you like, maybe get a student cookbook out of the library, my parents don't cook much and they bought a book that every recipe only uses 4 ingredients they like x
Hope everyone has a great day and enjoys some sunshine x0 -

well done, that's a marvellous achievement :T :T :Ttessie_bear wrote: »hi...im not sure my maths skills are up to % calculations
you divide the weight you've lost so far by your starting weight, and then multiply by one hundred, it's easy

Thanks for all the recipe websites, will have a look today or tomorrow. My success tends to be varied, the chicken curry and soup both turned out well. It's all trial and error at this stage0
