Hi.
I hoe you don't mind me joining in. I have around 21lbs I need to lose. I have already lost 43lbs but the last bit seems really hard to shift and I am feeling very frustrated with it.
I gained lots of weight after becoming ill a few years back but decided on January 1st (as you do) that I needed to lose the weight I had gained. The first bit was easy, then I hit a plateau but that shifted after a while and now I appear to be stuck again.
I don't want faddy diets, I want to lose weight and keep it off. Exercise is an issue because I have fibromyalgia but I can watch what I eat and thought this would be a good place to join2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000 -
Well done on the losses everyone!
After my 1lb gain last week - i checked this morning again to make sure i'm on track and lost the 1lb again plus an extra 1/2 lb - so fingers crossed I can keep this up to weigh in on Thursday morning.
Had a relatively good weekend - and incorporated exercise everyday - I try and make sure i do 15 mins every day minimum (mainly walking or exercise DVD's).
Went for about a 40 min walk on Saturday, and just short walks on friday and sunday.
However was out for lunch both saturday and sunday, but choose healthy options - salad starters, no dessert etc, and stayed of the wine (I'm sure everyone thinks I'm pregnant as it's unheard of for me to say no to wine!)
Breakfast today - 2 weetabix
Snacks - have a banana, special k cereal bar and bag of almonds and cranberries with me - so depends what mood i'm in.
Lunch - ham and lettuce sandwich on wholemeal bread (need to get more food in the house and get away from the bread!!)Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
Does everyone here eat breakfast?
I'm not really a breakfast person. I have a couple of coffees when I wake up then tend to eat around 1pm.2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000 -
