However, the sun came out today! ...and it made me realise how much easier it must be to dress when you know that clothes will look fine on you, and you don't have to check to see how podgy you look! I'm sitting here looking down at my spare tyre, it's got to go!

I know what you mean, I used to hate looking like a sack of spuds no matter what I wore, lol, I still have a podgy belly but I am starting to look better in most of my clothes now.

I didn't post my weigh in last week, but I'd put on 3 pounds! :o However I've lost the 3 again, so this week I'm declaring an STS, hopefully it will only be going down from now on.

I have a set of dumbell weights in the bedroom, which I do use but they are still in the original box, and I have to slide them out of the way when I want to vacuum where they are, as I can't pick the box up, and even then I have to take the smallest ones out of the box first. The other day I looked on the box to check what they weighed altogether and it was 19kg, I then worked out what I'd lost in kilos and it was almost 21kgs! No wonder I was getting out of breath so easily, and having so many problems with my back!

OH and I went for another walk today (about 4 miles), but because of what we've eaten I've still ended up nearly 400 calories over my goal! I may do a bit on the exercise bike, or a bit of aerobics before I go to bed to make up for it.

Water....I only drink it if it comes with a teabag and milk! So today I've started drinking water on its own, I think they recommend 2 litres a day but that's a lot when you're not used to it so I'm going to see how it goes and just work up to drinking 2 litres a day by the end of this week.

*I reserve the right to stop any exercise or water consumption if I start to add 1lb's on weigh day :p *

It should be 2L of liquid a day. If you still have 2 cups of tea, then you need 1.5 litres of water. If you are really having to force yourself to drink 2 litres, you might not need 2L at all...

I pulled out a couple of skirts that are around a dress size too small, and was going to target those for my 171-day holiday challenge. Held them against my jeans for my 61-day wedding weekend challenge, and they're the same size! :o

Measuring my hips, I need to lose 6 inches

:eek::eek: I like the idea of your challenge Mini cooper but  to 6 inches

Hi I always try and eat whole fruits as its full of fibre which is very good for you- jucing/smoothies destroy the fibre leaving you with a quick energy burst similar to a sugar hit. So sorry im not much help!

I feel abit 'cr*ppy' today, hungry but abit sicky, headache sneezing etc etc I betta not be ill for my hols

    Today:
B: 35g bran flakes, strawberries, blueberries, banana, lf greek yog
S: pinapple, chicken drummer- skin removed
L: Roast pork salad- no dressing
    S: 2 x apples
T: LO HM chicken & chrizo pasta bake with new pots & salad
E: Going to the gym after work (although I dont feel much like it at the moment!)

May have a SW bar later

    Be good all

Sorry mardatha, I've no experience of juicers, hopefully someone will be along soon who can tell you what you want to know.

I've haven't dieted over the weekend, I've been working away from home, and whilst I have cooking facilities to feed myself, of course I have to take all the food I want with me...so I tend to take easy stuff which doesn't need too many extra ingredients and can be bunged in the oven. I go away regularly and it usually means I eat more calories than I would at home. Back to normal tomorrow though.

Having said that, I have totally lost my appetite ...heard yesterday that one of the spectators seriously injured at a scottish car rally is a family friend, can't stop thinking about him and his family )-:
