Well done everyone on the losses!

Had a bt of a rubbish weekend, but alcohol which is normally my downfall was very limited - only one pint of cider, but the biscuit count was quite high, but probably still better than a weekend would normally have been for me.

Anyway today is a new day

Breakfast - Orange juice, and yoghurt and Strawberrys
Mid Mornign snack - have an apple
Lunch - whatever healthy options the canteen has
Dinner - have some soup prepared.

Now to try and stay of the snack!

    Afternoon all,

My weigh in is tomorrow, but had a very good week, stuck to the plan even over the weekend.
I joined aqua aerobics last week and loved it, one of the few exercises I can do since I had my knee replaced 4 months ago. So will go again tomorrow. Going to try a walk this afternoon as hubby is just home from work.
My favourite lunch at the moment is a tin of new potatoes roasted in the oven with fry light and 30g of grated cheese over the top and lots of salt and vinegar. Feels like cheesy chips:D and all allowed on SW.
I'm on week four, normally the time I kind of chuck the towel in but this time I feel like its a life style change. I will get to goal this time and I'm going to maintain. It's as if something has clicked in my brain. Long may it continue.:D will report in after my weigh in tomorrow.
Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.

Could you add my 1.5 lb loss on as well please, thanks knitwitch :)

I usually have bank hols off dieting, but trying to be good today as I feel like I'm doing the 5:2 diet lately I'm having so many days off for one thing or the other, I really have the munchies though so keeping busy as a distraction. We were up most of the night as had to take DD to the hospital so tiredness probably isn't helping.

Going to have a go at the crustless quiche later someone kindly posted with a jacket potato and salad.

Hope everyone has had a lovely day and enjoyed some sunshine x

If there were prizes for procrastinating, i would have won gold today!

Managed to fritter the whole day away, and all my plans just didn't happen...I could blame DS2 for visiting unexpectedly, but really it was all down to me :o

I've had a short walk, a little weeding, and I've washed dishes and bunged oven chips and fish in the oven...was so lazy I couldn't be bothered peeling veg, and just had baked beans.

    I think that's all I've achieved today :o

At least I've only had around 1300 calories to eat :)

Julie67, really like the potatoes and cheese recipe, I must try that soon...I have a very short attention span when it comes to new recipes, if I don't try something as soon as I read about it, I forget..meant to do the pastry-less quiche, but had forgotten about it until it was mentioned again today. That sounds really nice too (although I do like pastry!)

    Hi everyone,
    Breakfast: 2 Weetabix, banana, juice
Lunch: Sweet and sour chicken with rice, apple, Pepsi Max,
Tea: 2 Weetabix, cherries, Pepsi Max
Supper: am going to have an orange, chomp bar and juice to drink
I also went to the gym today, and have put some photos of me in my wedding dress (when I was at my goal weight) on some cupboard doors and on the fridge door. I used "slim" photos as opposed to "fat" photos as I feel this will work better for me, hopefully it will help me if I have a weak moment. I certainly identify my wedding dress as a goal to aim for, rather than numbers, I do have a goal weight in mind, but tend to identify better with clothes sizes and whether or not I can fit into something rather than stones and pounds, or kilos. I still have my wedding dress in my wardrobe, so i can try it on when I know I'm getting near my goal.

Happened to see this on a site called The Daily Motivator tonight -

"Every success story is a story of persistence. No matter where you start, with enough persistence you can reach the goal.

Persistence is not particularly glamorous or exciting. Yet the results of persistence can be truly amazing.

Persistence is not always easy, though it is always accessible. Once you’ve made the effort you can continue making the effort, and that’s what will make the difference.

You may not get very many lucky breaks. Yet every single day you will get the opportunity to persist, so take that opportunity and run with it.

It’s completely understandable that you will, from time to time, feel like giving up. It’s also absolutely possible to let go of that dejected feeling, and to replace it with an even stronger desire to persist no matter what.

Every turn of events is an opportunity to keep going. Take that opportunity, and with persistence you’ll get yourself all the way there."
