    Afternoon everyone

1lb loss for me this week......amazed considering the sweetie binge last weekend!

Hoping that this weekend will be a lot better...only thing I really fancy right now is a nice cold beer and I don't have any!

STS this week again. Haven't posted Friday or Saturday' food but don't want to bore you all. Suffice to say there was a twix and a bottle of wine in there so that might explain why STS. Need to cut out puddings as well but DB has just started learning to cook and it's puddings all the way. I don't want to refuse in case he loses interest in cooking before he gets on to low-fat dinners!

I need to try to get more exercise but it seems to be raining at the times I could go walking. Ah well, still 5 weeks to go on this challenge so I will keep trying. Well done everyone who is losing. X

Another 0.5lb off this week please KW. These baby steps are beginning to get boring! Hopefully the new treadmill will be set up this coming week and I can get down to it seriously again

    hi everyone :D

I have been to the gym today! Ive joined a local one with a pool so am getting gym plus pool plus classes for £19.99 per month which I think is reasonable. The pool isnt huge- 114 lengths to swim a mile (my old pool used to be 64 lengths for a mile) but hey you can swim up and down in it so it does its job :D Also they have a sauna, steam room and jaccuzzi so im happy with that!

Last night we went out for a pub meal and i really fancied fish and chips so this is what I had and it was rubbish really awful:o fish tasted of nothing and chips under cooked! Wish id have had chicken or steak with a jacket potato now as it would have been more healthy plus prob tasted better!

    Today:
B: 2 bacon grilled and fat removed, 2 nimble wholemeal toast (with real butter :o) 1/2 tin of beans, 2 poached eggs, squirt of brown sauce
L: 2 chicken drummer with skin taken off, 1 tomato chopped and sprinkled with salt-yum!
    S: handful grapes, banana
T: Going round MIL so a roast beef dinner but im taking my own pudding in the form of a muller light yogurt, also as we stay there quite late im throwing a sw bar in my handbag incase i get the nibbles tonight

Ive not quite decided if to have a drink or not tonight I fancy a glass of wine but am starting to think it not worth the cals/syns!

Have a good day all- hope the sun is shining somewhere as it certainly isnt here

Oh I've got a very stiff and aching back today :(
I've managed a half hour walk and a little bit of weeding, but that's it for the day.

Pleased to say that's another weekend when I've kept control of my eating, no takeaway again.
I did think of getting a pizza yesterday, but I'm finding I can resist by telling myself "well, I could have a pizza, but I think I'll wait and have it next weekend"... I've done this for a few weeks now, it sounds better than saying pizza is forbidden :)

Tonight I don't have much appetite, so am not tempted to have any, don't really know what I want. Worrying about a couple of family problems at the moment...nothing I can do anything about, just be there to pick up the pieces if required, but as mother I can't help worrying anyway :o

Almost bought a bar of chocolate today, but didn't. Instead I bought a pack of milky ways because the label said they were only 96 calories...having eaten one I can see why, they're tiny!

Pollybear, are you still having the freddos?

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

    Hi everyone,
Had a rubbish day yesterday, for some reason got a severe attack of the munchies, and overate 4 thick slices of bread and butter! But everything else was okay, I went to the gym and didn't eat in the night, so although I was ashamed of myself for overeating, I got two positive things done, and have done well today, no overeating:
    Breakfast: 2 Weetabix, banana, juice
Lunch: homemade sweet and sour chicken with rice, cherries, Pepsi Max
    Tea: 2 Weetabix, apple, juice
Will have an orange, a Chomp bar and some Pepsi Max for supper
Exercise; cycling (was going to go to the gym, but got there before being told it closes early on a Sunday!
    See you all tomorrow

hello...dont feel bad emily could be worse than some bread...could have been 4 bars of chocolate ...well done on trying to reign in the night nibbles....habits are so hard to break arent they ...i gave up chocolate for lent and am still going (strong) although some evenings i have cried a few tears over wanting to eat chocolate but thinking what a failure i would feel if i ate it...dieting what a nightmare

i have eaten a bit more today but did a lot of swimming i find the kids holidays quite difficult and have in the past shoved a biscuit into my mouth thinking in some way that is going to make an auti child easier to deal with....it doesnt but i need to remember that pre biscuit not post

right wishing everyone a sucessful week im ever optomistic but am not going to be too hard on myself if i falter

    Saturday
B - missed as I had to leave at 7am
L - ham salad, piece of tea loaf
D - F'n'C in a roadhouse on the way home, overcooked, dry fish and hard, chips pinging off the plate so left half. The rhubarb crumble with ice cream was weird, looked like the 'crumble' came out of a mincing machine!
    S - none
E - none, didn't get home til 10.45pm so straight to bed

    Sunday
    B - croissant with 1/2 banana
D - salmon Nicoise, choc fudge cake for pud
    T - 3 Crackerbread with Vegemite, Stilton, 1/2 banana
    S - 2 iced party rings
E - step for a few mins throughout the day, weeding

Next weigh-in will be my last before my holiday so I have to be extra good this week, hopefully it won't be too difficult as I don't keep anything naughty - biscuits, crisps, chocolate, cream, etc., in the house. It's just the meals out when I meet up with DD and friends I have to watch...:o
