    Hi guys

I'm just wondering if any of you have made a crustless quiche before and if so how?

I love quiche with salad but dont fancy all the pastry.

I was chuffed today because someone actually commented that I'd lost weight :T...I've never mentioned losing weight to anyone in the real world as my work colleagues are obsessed with 'diets' and how much you should eat, how many sins, how many calories, whether you've put on or lost etc....as I'm not on a diet I dont waste time joining in with the conversations....have to admit though it was a bit down heartening that no-one had noticed my weight loss.

As emily pointed out earlier, this thread is nice, no-one gets judgemental and we all understand where the others are coming from when it comes to the eventual binge! I'm going to stick to the virtual world of weight loss and sod my work colleagues :D

It's great when people notice isn't it? I've had a few comments recently from people who work in other departments, and I always get asked 'how are you doing it?' or 'what diet are you doing?', and they are always amazed when I say that I'm just eating less and exercising more. I really believe that weight loss is as simple as that, because no matter what 'diet' you do, the weight won't come off any other way.

ellie I tried the trousers on again yesterday and got the button done up - felt very tight and gave me a muffin top but a week ago I couldn't get anywhere near doing them up. Another couple of weeks... ;)

E - walking up and down stairs - every time I need go up for something I go up, come down and go up again then do the reverse coming down. Good cardio but feels a bit silly, thank goodness no-one's watching!

    Sweet dreams :)

Well done on the trousers, they'll soon fit you properly! Good idea walking up and down the stairs twice, a simple way to get in a bit of extra exercise, I'll have to try that!

Sorry I didn't post at the weekend, but on my official weigh-in on Friday I had lost another 1lb. I've not been able to do as much exercise in the past few days, as my sciatica flared up again on Saturday morning, not quite as bad as it was last time but still painful. OH was a bit worried about us going for a walk on Sunday, in case it got so painful that I couldn't move, but we managed about 3 and a half miles, with a rest beside a lake in the park halfway.

I finally finished my easter egg, and only have the thornton's bunny to eat now, which OH is pleased about as he didn't want to eat his until I started mine, lol!

    Today
B special k oats and honey, with strawberries and skimmed milk
L 2 scrambled eggs on 1 slice of wholemeal bread
D HM toad in the hole with mash and onion gravy
S low cal cereal bar, satsuma
E 3 hours of cleaning and ironing, 15 minutes on exercise bike (I may do a bit more on the bike later)

    Evening everyone,

    Breakfast: 2 Weetabix, banana, juice
Lunch: Chilli con carne (I made 2 portions yesterday), apple, Pepsi Max
    Tea: Sandwich, apple, juice
Supper: Orange, 1 Weetabix, Pepsi Max

I was really pleased because my husband's got an open packet of grated cheese in the fridge, and usually I would take a couple of handfuls, but I resisted:j :j. My challenge now is to ignore any middle of the night cravings, but I really feel like my attitude to weight loss is changing, it was a really big thing for me not to eat the cheese :)

Signing off now, and will let you know how I get on in the morning, goodnight :hello:

Can i join in too please?

I am aiming to lose 12lb in 7 weeks, i do my weigh in every thursday morning and have lost 3lb in my first week - so very happy about that!

But then due to lack of food in the house - i had Rice Krispies for breakfast, and have ham sandwich for lunch - but at least it's whole meal bread.
Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.

    Hi

I have a SW reciepe which i tried and is strange but nice!

Take 1 packet of rice- i used batchelors golden rice but any will do- cook as per the packet and allow to cool. Crack 3 eggs in a bowl with S&P then stir in cooled rice
Put the mixture into 12 silicon moulds (I used 6 silicon muffin moulds cooked 6 then re-used) and cook in microwave on high for 2 mins
