'Evening all. Good news, I have a new treadmill coming next week! I was fortunate enough to find a brand new one with all the gizmo's I wanted at a greatly reduced price as it's a 'return' but still has a full 12 month guarantee on structure and parts, and a lifetime warranty on the motor! I questioned that but am assured it has, so I snapped it up. That is, after doing a little financial juggling. Happy sparrer :D
Now I just have to get someone to get the old one out and disposed of by Tuesday but that's a minor detail :p

ellie I tried the trousers on again yesterday and got the button done up - felt very tight and gave me a muffin top but a week ago I couldn't get anywhere near doing them up. Another couple of weeks... ;)

    B - 2 plums
D - egg, sausage, bacon, and 2 yummy, big, juicy mushrooms and a cuppa in Mr S while out shopping with DD
T - wm roll with rf cheese and cucumber, plum
    S - a walnut whip :o, a banana and carrot batons
E - walking up and down stairs - every time I need go up for something I go up, come down and go up again then do the reverse coming down. Good cardio but feels a bit silly, thank goodness no-one's watching!

    Sweet dreams :)

I was chuffed today because someone actually commented that I'd lost weight :T...I've never mentioned losing weight to anyone in the real world as my work colleagues are obsessed with 'diets' and how much you should eat, how many sins, how many calories, whether you've put on or lost etc....as I'm not on a diet I dont waste time joining in with the conversations....have to admit though it was a bit down heartening that no-one had noticed my weight loss.

That's what I hate about office work. I don't take part in their chats, but when I hear people going on about it, i'm more likely to go grab a cake and eat it nearby, so they can see and be jealous. That will sound awfully petty! Especially if you don't work in a big office like I do (where there's no escape from the chat)...

So, Monday went as planned apart from an iced bun from a colleague. It was her birthday, I couldn't refuse!
Exercise was a very short walk only.
    Yesterday
    B hot water/lemon; 2 bread and butter w/jam
    L hummus, 1/4 cucumber, 2 oatcakes, apple
D 1sausage, tomato/onion/lentil sauce, small portion pasta. Tiny piece jam sponge and custard, yum.
Snacks flapjack , drinks water and one tea.
    Exercise 40 min walk
    Today
Should be as above except dinner is jacket potato with cheese and beans and will try to limit the cheese.

    Have a good day everyone.

:T :T :T those trousers will soon be fitting perfectly :)

I don't quite do what you do on the stairs, but I do often carry things up one at a time, so that I get more trips in :)

    Morning all!

I find keeping track of what I've eaten really helpful to my weight loss journey, so here's yesterday's:

    Breakfast: 2 Weetabix, banana, juice
Lunch: Homemade chilli con carne, apple, Pepsi Max
    Tea: Sandwich, apple, water
Snack: Fudge bar, orange, Pepsi Max

This is quite embarrassing to write, but I used to be stuck in a habit of getting up in the middle of the night and picking. I don't set my alarm clock, but I did it a couple of times when I couldn't sleep, and now my body just wakes up automatically, but I know that if I can get into the habit of just ignoring it, I will eventually go back to sleeping straight through, and last night I IGNORED IT AND DIDN'T EAT A THING! This is a big step for me, and will be vital in helping my picking problem, so I feel really proud. Hopefully I can keep it up tonight. Have a great day everyone :)

Well this last 2 weeks has been awful for me! 2 nights out, a few takeaways and just generally not eating well at all! I will weigh back in soon and am keeping an eye on the thread :)

Hello everyone, i haven't read all the pages as 630 is rather a lot! I've just dropped WW as I need to cut back on spending and I fell off the wagon anyway :( I'm still not back on fully yet, trying to get my head around how I am going to do this while trying cut back on grocery spends at the same time. I have one bar of chocolate left so am hoping not buying anymore due to grocery challenge and more salads in the hot weather will help. I haven't weighed myself, worried it will send me in the wrong direction, maybe next Monday.

Are you wanting to join the challenge Solstice?

Oh and sorry I haven't been around since Saturday!

Can I ask when the end of the next challenge is, please?

I'd like to be under 12 stones soon, was 12 stones 7 when I checked 10 days ago.

This current challenge finishes at the end of June, the next one will run for about another three months (I hope this helps!)
