Hi all
Ive been wearing work trousers that are far too tight since about xmas was hoping it would spurr me on the loose the weight but it didnt well until now! I started wearing tops that would cover the waist band so i could leave my top button open  I just couldnt bring myself to buy a bigger size!
Today is a better day:
B: 1 slice wholemeal toast, scrape of marg, 1/2 tin beans, 2 eggs scrambled, 2 grilled bacon rashers all fat removed
S: pear
L: handful of wholemeal pasta, slice ham chopped, spoon of sweetcorn, tomato chopped, 1 laughing cow extra light cheese triangle stirred into the hot pasta to make a 'creamy' sauce- it was nice to be fair
S: fat free greek yog, banan, couple starwberries
T: roast chicken HM wedges, & salad, with 1/2 lf rice pudding for pud
Later if needed ill have a SW bar
E: 40 mins dog walking and im going to do the 30 day shred before tea- need a good kick to get some exercise doneO/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
I was hoping I could lose enough to get into my new-to-me trousers before my holiday in three weeks. I can get the zip done up but not the button, there's probably another inch or two to lose before they'll do up completely. But I'm not giving up, if I can't take them away they'll do for Summer. I'll just have to look for some more
B - missed
D - gammon, 2 eggs, chips, peas. Ate just over half. Pud was a trio of chocolate puddings, just tiny tastes and although my dinner side was full my pudding side had plenty of room for all three
T - rf cheese and cucumber on hm wm.
S apple, banana, stick of celery
E only 2x6 mins with Mr W, had to go out early this morning and have a stomach ache. Something to do with a trio of puddings, perhaps?

Morning all,
All I can say about the clothes EBAY, I've made a small fortune selling clothes that are either to big or too small:D
Hoping for a better day today. I've been good all weekend despite two parties. But I've also not really stuck to SW so back on track this morning. I suspect I've not eaten enough over the weekend because I was frightened of cheating
B weetabix
L chicken salad
D roast chicken and sweets potato with rice
Snacks fruit
I've got a feeling I will stay the same tomorrow at weigh in, we shall see. Have a good day all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Evening all,
Just thought I would pop in and say how proud I am of myself.
It was my grandsons 5 th birthday party today, 30 kids in a church hall:eek:. I love party food, especially birthday cake with icing and I was mainly responsible for preparation. I didn't touch a thing, not even a crumb of birthday cake, not even a batman cupcake with blue icing. This was a massive thing for me, huge and I can honestly say I wasn't even tempted.
I'm so on track just now, I really feel I may get to goal:D
Well done!! I am good at avoiding food at buffets etc... if I need to, but whilst preparing I don't think I would have been able to resist!

Back on track today (I hope). Need to go and pick up an online order from Hotel Chocolat but as I don't really eat chocolate (though it is incredible from this place), I find it very easy just to have it as a treat with a coffee rather than scoffing!

Love the idea of "dinner side" and "pudding side"...that explains it perfectly, my pudding side has been missing out recently.
Re the trousers...if it's just the button which doesn't fasten is there room on the waist band to sew on a button a little further over?
I've done this occasionally for both reasons, too tight and too loose...if you've a top over them no-one can see

All I can say about the clothes EBAY, I've made a small fortune selling clothes that are either to big or too small:D
You're right of course, but I just don't think I can be bothered with the faff of selling online, and risking people not being happy or saying it doesn't fit. and my camera's broken
A couple of months ago I bought a few items of clothing, some were fine, some weren't...one jacket advertised as new had a paper hanky in the pocket?! it was also advertised as XL,size 16/18, but measured against my other clothes I would say it was a 12, far too small. Although the seller was very good, I still had to pay the postage.
So I've stopped buying...the only thing I'd buy now is jeans, I really like some of my next jeans and now they're too big I found a couple of pairs the exact same style in the next size down, so I know they should fit, and that I suit the style.
It's a very smug feeling to pull on a smaller size and they fit
Now...all I need to do is part with the bigger ones...I have no problem giving away tops that are too big, but favourite jeans?...mmm, that's a bit harder. I have about half a dozen pairs of trousers (jeans and good black trousers) in a little bag...I'm thinking keep them for a few months until I've convinced myself that I'm not going to put the weight back on. Maintaining has always been the hardest part for me.
