I have been trying to lose weight for years and normally I do really well for a month or so (max) then get back to old ways. This year, I have been consistently losing weight since January (I was 207lbs) and it has been a lot slower due to lots of days off etc/nights out and all, but I a, now down to 185lbs. I have learnt not to feel guilty about days off, putting on weight over a few days because overall it is working, and I am hoping when I do get to my target weight I will feel much better for it and be able to adjust to an normal diet
That's a sensible attitude, basically you are re-training yourself to have a healthy lifestyle, and any healthy lifestyle is going to have special occasions where you can't just nibble a lettuce leaf!Must use my stash up!0 -

Just in time for summer then  Yikes!
OK, so I am going to aim to lose 4lbs please. I hope that I lose more, as I'd like to lose 1lb a week, but slow and steady wins the race so 1lb every 2 weeks is a good starting point.
Thanks KWWhat day is the weekly weigh in?

Friday, Saturday or Sunday, actually any day is fine provided the loss is in bold/colour and/or you state it is the official weigh in!

Morning All!
Weighing in today and have STS @ 10st 13lbs.0 -
This morning I have woken up with the drive and ambition that makes me think I can get up extra early and get myself to the gym before work, before I have a chance to think "it's been a long day". Might as well give it a go at least once!
Had a good day yesterday, with some crackers and dried apples for breakfast, carrot & ginger soup for lunch and a bowl of stir-fry for dinner. I add lots of extra veggies on top of my stir fry pack, and only use 1 portion of noodles and 1 pork steak, which gives me 3 meals. Make my own SW stir fry sauce with 5 spice, lemon juice, tomato puree, soy sauce and just a tbsp of sweet chilli sauce, so that's quite healthy too.
Had around 6 Thornton's choccies and a bowl of Greek yoghurt as well, but off to the gym today to work those put of my system.0 -
