Everyone's doing really well this week, lots of good losses :T
Mmmm, just finished a bowl of left over potato soup, it was delish.
Does any else find that if they miss lunch they aren't hungry later?
On days I'm working, like today, I have muesli and milk and a big mug of tea at 6am, then I start work, and don't eat again until I'm finished work, no breaks. Today I got home at half 4, had a mug of tea and soup.
I've had 600 calories, and I'm not hungry at all. I get a lot hungrier when I've had the full 1200 cals!
So...do I eat for the sake of eating, or "save" the extra calories for the inevitable overspend at the weekend?

Evening all
Knitwit please can you put me down for a loss of -0-5lb. Not as good as last week but a loss at least.

Well done for all the losses and STS-ers. Hope any gains are short lived!
Steeped on the scales yesterday without my glasses - around a 2lbs loss! Stepped on the scales today with glasses and it was an STSGoing to weigh myself tomorrow and take the average... Is it possible my glasses weight 2lbs??? :rotfl:
I have seen such a rise in snacking and junk food this week. I was really short of cash for a few weeks, and watched my pennies so closely on the food side. When pay day hit, I splurged on snacks in a 'yay I have money again' sort of way...
Think I need a bit of a detox - give up junk cold turkey for a few weeks to get over any cravings.0 -
P.S. glad I'm not the only one who as to go to the loo so much when I drink enough water! My colleagues must wonder sometimes :rotfl: Though have to agree, I notice skin looks a lot better0

There's certainly been a lot of chocolate floating around the thread this week
I don't know whether to be smug that I had no chocolate at all, or slightly peeved that no-one loves me enough to buy me an egg:rotfl:
I thought I'd done well today (it being the weekend, you know), coming in at about 1450 calories...then I realized I'd forgotten to add on all of todays milk, oops! so about 1550 cals.
If only I hadn't had the last 3 scoops of ice cream as my Saturday night treatTonight, DH, DS1 and I all had strawberries with some broken up chocolate. DS1 just ate the strawberries.

Bearing in mind I had 2 days worth of food thanks to a free takeaway on Sunday night I am impressed with that.
This isn't evidence for anybody to actually go and do it, but even though I stick to 1800kcal a day and add all my exercise (usually 500-1000, due to 4 miles walking to uni and back and a run sometimes), I still seem to lose around 2lbs a week despite cheat days. I think, and I could be wrong, that part of the reason for this is because I only eat natural foods. Here is a typical day for me:- (the figures I put in brackets are the figures MFP knows, and the grams are what I think it is ish)
B: 30g porridge with 150ml whole milk and 10g honey (250kcal)
S: 4 eggs (280kcal)
L: 350g Potatoes, 200g Sweetcorn, 65g Tuna (450kcal)
S: 2 small bananas (100kcal)
S: 20g Cashews/10g Walnuts (200kcal?)Bolognaese with lots of mushroom, onion etc... and 75g pasta (600-650kcal) OR Creme fraiche, bacon, peas, onion, mushroom and 75g pasta (600-650kcal)
S: Yoghurt with banana, grapes and honey (200kcal)
S: McVities Hobnobs (I will learn how to make my own soon but htye were 5 for 65p) (150kcal)
All in all there are around 2400kcal there, so perhaps a bit too much for some people, but then there is a lot of food. The bolognaese is made with lots and lots of veg so it is a very big portion. It would be easy for some to eat less than I do but still keep the gist of what it is. I know you would read this on any well-to-do weight loss forum/website but I feel much better for eating as many natural foods/fruit/veg as I can!
Anyway, best of luck everyone and thanks for all the support on here!Everyone's doing really well this week, lots of good losses :T

The 2lb loss didn't come back! So I'll stick with an STS this week please KW!
I'm going to have a bit of a splurge today to finish off the junk I've bought this week, and start being super healthy again from tomorrow.0 -

Thanks savesummore that's really good of youand I'm sure the cals don't count if you're doing someone a favour :rotfl:
On track so far today...had the usual muesli for breakfast, a banana as a snack at work, and home in time for some wm toast and a few crisps (weighed from a big packet! I never thought I'd see the day I'd weigh crisps :rotfl: ..and after they were on the plate my DS stole the largest one, he couldn't believe I'd weighed them out!)
Thinking of salad and chips for tea, but not promising anything
