Good on you for doing as well as you have during such an horrendous time.

Morning All, I haven’t been around for a few days and been a bit naughty, things have been very hectic and stressful; my menu plan has totally gone by the wayside and bad habits returning – missing breakfast, very few of my 5 a day, convenient lunches, CRISPS & WINE  (have to admit to taking devilish delight in enjoying a couple of Crisp Sandwiches)
Loving the pants chat… :rotfl: My size 14/16 BJ style are also on the large size, to the point where I feel as though I have a tail that is wagging when I’m walking. My PJ trousers also need replacing as they are starting to slip down to my knees when I’m walking about the house– Not a good look.
Anyway I am back on track as of today

At risk of being repetitive across the boards (3rd - and last - time of asking!), I'd like to make my visitor a GF loaf, she's not keen on shop bought and I have to say when I tried it I found it pretty awful _pale_
Last time I made her a GF loaf in the panny I'm sure I used GF bread flour, but can't find it in Mr.A, Mr.S or Mr.M. They all have GF baking flour (for cakes) which I know isn't the same thing but wondering if it would work?
Also does anyone know if I can use ordinary white vinegar rather than cider vinegar? Seems a terrible waste to buy a bottle for one or two spoonsful. Tia

Well, I rang the GP and got the std scrip for anti-convulsants and anti-inflammatories and sleeping pills that I need for the TN - is it sad that they know my 'sophisticated' medical history so well they put me straight through LOL? Just waiting for the dentist to ring now, it makes sense to double check that there isn't a problem there, but it's probably having been to the dentist on Monday that started it off as two of my main triggers are leaning back and opening my jaw - which means of course that eating is a b*****! Hey ho! Anyway, I'm drugged up to the eyeballs now, feeling dizzy and nauseous, I really don't want to eat but I have to or I can't take the meds. I know it'll settle down but I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself atm.
Sparrer, you need the gluten that you find in the 'strong' flour to give you a good loaf, you can make it with cake flour but you'll find the texture a bit funny and it won't rise in the same way. So GF flour is modified to give you an equivalent to the gluten. I doubt GF cake flour will work. But I don't think there would be a problem if you substitute a different vinegar. How about making oopsie bread instead? You don't need to use the splenda, that's just for people who can't bear to cut the sugar out of their diet.Eat food. Not too much. Good morning all.
It was weigh in for me today and I can report a 6.5 lb loss this month. I was a bit disappointed as I didn't quite make the 7lb target. I've also just realised that getting into a suit I was hoping to wear for DS's wedding is now looking decidedly unlikely. I'd bought it for DD's wedding but put on weight and never wore it, so in the wardrobe it still sits.
Oh well I know I should be really pleased and I'm just being daft so it's onwards and downwards for the next month when I hope to have lost 7lbs, so finger crossed."It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. Poor you (((daska))), sounds like you're having a horrid time atm. Hope you come through it soon.
Thank you for the link, just had a look and can't believe that's a substitute bread recipe, I have to try it! The feedback is good with lots of variations, I'll have a 'play' with some of them to see which is favourite0 -
