  • Hello Ladies.

Sorry I haven't been around much this week. I've had a death in the family and so have had to go away to attend funeral etc. It's been a very stressful week for all of us and I haven't really been healthy at all. Consequently I have put on +2lb :( so back to -6lb in total. Grrrr.

I am back on track this week though and determined to get the 2 lbs back off.

    Plan for today

    B: cereal bar
L: weight watchers soup, wholemeal bread roll, yogurt
D: Pasta with a couple of quorn sausages, peppers and tomato sauce.
    Snacks: fruit.

I haven't had a chance to read through the thread yet but will have a read at lunch. xxxx

So sorry for your loss Lauz, now is not the time to stress over food and small gains, it will come off again easy enough when you are feeling better. Look after yourself and give yourself a break xx

  • Thanks Ragz. I know a 2lb gain is no big deal in the grand scheme of things but it's frustrating when you think about how hard you worked to get it off in the 1st place!

Looks like a few others have been having a difficult time lately. Wishing you all a better week this week! xxx

    Morning everyone.
I have some exciting news! [well little things please little minds LOL]. I am now wearing little knickers again, after years of wearing horrible size 18 granny knickers. Yesterday I went and bought a pack of size 12 bikini pants, and they fit and feel really comfy. It's little moments like that that make me feel it's all worth it.
So my meal plans for today are
B - banana, LF greek yoghurt
L- wholemeal pitta, grated LF cheese, tomatoes and cucumber
D- lentil burger [no bun] new potato, salad
    S's - fruit, nuts
    Exercise - swimming
    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all :)
Was very good last night, didn't have any wine with dinner, even though DH had 2 glasses and kept going on about how nice it was  May crack and have a glass tonight.

We've decided to start getting a weekly veg box delivered again. We used to do it about 3 years ago and it really increased the amount of veg we ate. The company rang last night with an offer so I've arranged our first delivery for Friday :)

    Meals today:
    Breakfast: fruit corner, grapes
Lunch: chicken & philly sandwich, apple, satsuma
    Dinner: undecided
    Little monkey born November 2012:j
    Froglet due March 2016 :D
  • Morning all

Seems to be a lot of bugs here going around atm, just got over a gastro one and now we start with the sore throats etc :( I think it's the weather, one day it's sunny and like spring, the next it is pouring down and feels damp and very cold !

On a good note, roll on spring and we have just booked a week away in June :T First holiday for about 2 years.

    Breakfast: Cheerios + ss milk
Lunch: Mortadella sandwich + beetroot on wm bread. Salad cream, no butter.
Dinner: either a cupasoup or fish with veg and new potatoes (depending how my throat is)
    Drinks: water

Hope you all have a great day and JBD awesome news on the knicker front !:rotfl:Can't imagine wearing little ones myself yet but one day............

    DC xx

Can you count going to the loo at least five times a day? :D I have been watching some of the 30 Day shred videos on u-tube and doing some bits of the routine - especially the cardio bits, star jumps and pretendy skipping on the spot, as well as a few crunches.

I'm gradually hoping to build up the stamina to tackle the full 20 minutes, but there's no rush. :rotfl:Having lived through and managed to avoid the old skool likes of Jane Fonda and her 'feel the burn' / 'no pain no gain' garbage I don't feel inclined to jump onto this latest bandwagon that says we need to be working through the pain. I thought we had left all that in the past. :D

Good for you, it is all worth it. I have noticed myself able to delve deeper into the knicker drawer for some of the smaller ones, rather than the comfy Bridget Jones' that have been mostly on the top of the pile. ;)
