evening all
not had a bad day at all, certainly better than the usual saturday.
went out for thai last night and did better than usual, didn't stay anywhere near within my calorie goal, but it shouldnt have done and serious damage
today has been:
2 x wm, seeded toast with butter & marmite
fish fingers, salad, sprouts and chilli saucei know that sounds weird but the sprouts needed using up and i was determined not to waste them.
dinner was pizza and salad and a very small glass of red.
i managed a 30 minute fitness dvd. my 9 yr old ds caught me and uttered the words 'that's not even half a funky chicken'
the plan for tomorrow is:
porridge & a tsp maple syrup
veggie sausages, bubble & squeak, lots of veg and a yorkie.
dinner will be somthing with eggs, maybe scrambled, on toast.
hope you are enjoying your weekend.- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Morning all. I totally and utterly blew my calorie goal yesterday, in fact probably doubled it. Roast pork dinner should have been fine, it was the trio of chocolatey desserts (that I had seconds of later on) and several glasses of wine that did it. I actually felt so full my stomach really hurt and I felt a bit ill, but I still ate more desserts, why is that?! Arrgh. Anyway, I mostly enjoyed it and DH has been instructed to eat the rest of the desserts before I try! I did have a tiny bite this morning but it was before I took my meds so I wasn't allowed to eat for an hour which stopped me...June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Morning everyone. I have to confess to 1lb gain
Yesterday I had afternoon tea with friends in a posh restaurant, then came home too tired to cook and had a Chinese carryout.
Really enjoyed both meals
So much for Tuesday's nil-by-mouth - I've definitely made up for it :rotfl:
Next week's challenge is to work out how to do some exercise without making fatigue worse. I like a challengeAll suggestions welcome folks.
Am also going to start listing meals to shame myself into cooking properly as I've been getting a bit lazy. So for today:
B: Coffee with s/s milk, toasted cinnamon & raisin bagel with butter
L: Not yet decidedSlow cooked lamb shanks in lots of veg
Exercise: cheering at the cup final on the TV, some gardening if the weather brightens up.
Well done on keeping going everyone, have a good Sunday.

hi im hopping i can join you all. my hubby needs to loose some weight and to be honest i could do with loosing a small amount too. He has joined tescos diet site and says he should have 2300 calories per day, he has trackedon there what he is eating and doesnt seem to be eating enough calories even with 3meals a day and evening snack and a couple of coffees from our gusto machine( lattes have 89 cals)
An example of his daily eating now looks like this...oats so simple porrige and either banana or raisans for breakfast, ham salad sandwich(brown bread) with a teaspoon of lowest fat mayo i could find using flora light(spread thin) for lunch and walkers light crisps, tea tonight is cottage pie with new pots, brussels, carrots and peas. He isnt a big fruit eater tbh
will prob lurk if thats ok to get some ideas as i feel we have a very limited diet although not too bad mostly now we have cut down snacks and alcoholHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0 -

Hope you all had a nice weekendWe spent Saturday afternoon/evening with friends at the pub watching the rugby, only had 2 halves though, and then didn't have any rice with my curry, just a chapati, so my calories for the day weren't too bad, especially as we walked home, and I'd spent all morning cleaning!
Yesterday we had proper cooked breakfast with our friends that stayed over, so not a great start to the day, and it just got worse from then on
