Used my homemade almond milk to make porridge this morning, added in a tbsp of the ground almond bits, a spoonful of chia and linseeds and served up. It was delicious!

Ate the last of my easter chocolate (a whole Lindt bunny), kinda glad to have it gone now. I'm not normally fussed about chocolate, but if you stick it in front of me, I can't resist!

There's certainly been a lot of chocolate floating around the thread this week :)

I don't know whether to be smug that I had no chocolate at all, or slightly peeved that no-one loves me enough to buy me an egg :rotfl:

I thought I'd done well today (it being the weekend, you know), coming in at about 1450 calories...then I realized I'd forgotten to add on all of todays milk, oops! so about 1550 cals.

If only I hadn't had the last 3 scoops of ice cream as my Saturday night treat :o

Or the people that love you most knew you were on a diet and wanted to make you happy that you went a year without :p

What a nice thought, but no, my sons are of the practical and down-to-earth variety that would never think to buy their old mum a surprise gift...nor are they even slightly interested that I'm losing weight...nor have they asked how my new job is going...

They're lovely people, honestly :D just not very demonstrative!

It surprised me reading this thread just how many adults had easter chocolate, I'd always thought the chocolate was more for the children. (I have bought eggs for adults before, but I think I've only been given one once as an adult...luckily for me my sons were always willing to share :-) )

Now, half way through the weekend...can I keep it up and be good today? Mmmm, already planning a little treat tonight...noticed there's a new series of Vera starting at 8pm, so thinking feet up with a glass of wine, I really like that programme :)
Lovely sunny day, will definitely go for a walk.

Erm...does walking a mile and a half to collect it cancel out a chicken kebab? :o and does going in the rain get me more brownie points?

and really unlike me, but I couldn't finish it, I was so full.

I'm hoping that 6 good days and a day off on Sunday is enough.
although mfp says I'm at 1450 right now, not too bad, but still have that glass of wine to add on.

Did the last "wardrobe job" today...trying on my jeans.
Now I have a little pile which is defo too big, a little pile which fit, and a pile which are in between, the ones which act like they fit, and after a couple of hours stretch and go all baggy.

I don't have any in my fitting pile which are suitable for work, so I'm hoping I can manage with a baggy pair and a belt until the weather gets warmer and I can wear cut-offs (which now fit :T)

Still have my underwear drawer to do, will need to be feeling strong to do that

Mrs Cautious, do you swim in the sea, if it's choppy?

    Hi all

Sorry been MIA again this weekend- where has it gone?

    STS for me again please!

Ive done loads of walking this weekend id say about 3 hours total but unfortunatley ive also done alot of eating including a curry last night :o

Anyhow line drawn in the sand and ill start a fresh tomorrow

    Today:
B 2 sausage, 2 bacon grilled, 1 poached egg all on a massive white roll :o
S: 2 cherry rock pieces, a pear *an actual pear not pear drop :rotfl:
    L: None see breakfast above!!
    S: 1 oat biscuit
T: roast chicken dinner followed by this homemade pud:

    Makes 4:

3 big sheets of filo pastry all cut into 4 - spray 1 cal spary on a tin (i used a yorkshire pud tin with 4 holes) layer filo pastry at diferent angles to make a 'bowl shape' spray pastry with 1 cal spray inbetween each layer- blind bake the 4 'bowls' in oven at 160 for approx 8 mins- keep your eye on them!!
Spoon low fat custartd into each bowl once they are cooled then add chopped strawberries and sprinkle with icing sugar
Instead you could use thinly sliced apples with a sprinkle of cinnamon

I do hope this makes sense as I have wine hangover fog in my brain!

I will have a small piece of easter egg later

    Be good all

Hehe no, just my local leisure centre pool, honestly it was choppy today -- really busy from people going really quick -- not me though!

Had a little bowl of porridge this morning and went to pilates shortly after. Now know the meaning of the word 'hot flash' :rotfl:

Had a mammoth cooking session this afternoon - got a breast of lamb, turned half into curry and roasted the other half, and made a big batch of carrot and ginger soup. Roast for dinner tonight and tomorrow, and curry Tue/Wed.
