hello to all the new challengers :hello:
1 lb loss for me this week please Knit Witch.
My easter was so-so...no takeaway, and no chocolate, but far too much cake
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Morning All,
Well, after my positive post last night I stayed up too late as OH was out, crumbled and ate half a large packet of raw cashews and some peanut butter!
I'm going to post my actual weight so I have a starting point to log from and is it OK if I post my results in kg as I'm trying to train myself to be more "metricated"- is that a word?!
OK, so deep breath, I'm 12st 6lbs or 78.9kg
My aim has always been 10st or 63kg so a long way to go and I've been trying to lose it for 20years! Hopefully the support from here will help.
Good Luck to everyone else, sending positive vibes for successful weigh-ins.

With 50g cooked pasta it comes in at under 500 cals a portion (above serves 2) but the portions are massive! I am going to start exerimenting soon by putting peas in it and then something else, as I want to make my own cheap 5-a-day bolognese.
But the above is cheap (I got the pork mince on offer from Aldi for £1.49/400g) and healthy and filling!
When I was a student I used to live on hm meat-free bolognese. I'd buy a big bag of onions and chop the lot. Freeze in little bags (freezer smells when you open if for first 2 days) Onions, peppers, sometimes carrot, 1/2 tin tomatoes, paprika, mixed herbs, squirt of tom puree, bit of garlic powder or paste. Stirred into a bit of pasta. Very cheap. DH demands meat in his tho lol. So I use 1/2 pack of mince to make a big batch of bolognese with lots of veg in it. Does dinner for all of us, next days lunch too and I freeze two plastic takeaway tubs of the bolognese too. Each of those will make two adult meals either as bolognese or goes even further as chilli with 1/2 tin kidney beans
(The other half of the mince becomes a pan of mince, in gravy with carrots and onions and peas to be served with mash and veg. One of DH's favourites)2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013
