    Hi all

A very disappointing STS for me :( I am either building muscle from the exercise I am doing (it does involve hand weights, pushups, squats, lunges etc etc so possible) or Im doing something very wrong and Im not sure what it is!

Anyway i measured myself 2 weeks ago so will measure again tomorrow see if that has any better news!

    Today:
B: 2 eggs scrambled with a couple of mushrooms, 1 medium wholemeal toast and butter
S: Banana, couple spoons greek yog
L: 2 wholemeal medium bread with ham & cheese & salad, pack of pom bear crisps
S: 1/2 tin manderians, 1 mini malteser bunny
T: HM (from a jar!) prawn and spinach curry with brown rice & 1 wrap
E: 30 mins Jillian Micheals DVD

Im going to review my calorie intake and see if I can see what im doing wrong

    Keep smiling everyone :)

STS for me this week.....seems like everyone is having a hard week

feel a bit gutted as last weekend I was really really good with my food and had healthy salads, fish etc instead of normal junk and have nothing to show for it....trying to reduce food in freezer so although I had salad for lunch I'm treating myself to fish finger sandwiches for tea!

hopefully next week will be better x

This is quite interesting...especially the bit about exercise releasing the hormone for us then to eat!

    STS this week
Saw this program. Got to be honest I always found I ate more when I used to go to the gym. Nevertheless exercise increases muscle mass which increases metabolism. And it tones, improves heart and lung health etc so its worth the effort. Hoping to go to Zumba tomorrow morning :)
Best thing for weight loss and weight maintainance (according to that program) is to move as much as possible throughout your day. Avoid sitting still. Since I'm at home with a nearly 3yr old, a baby and a lazy husband I am finding sitting still is a rare treat lol.

Mmmn love fish finger butties :-P
My chest freezer has died this week so I've had to use up some high calorie stuff. Lidl Indian meals (600 cals) plus mini onion bahjis and samosas, Wednesday. Apple crumble (homemade) and roast chicken dinner today.
Nevertheless- and it must be a combination of a few "good" days and being busy I have lost a pound. Yay!

Sorry for leading you astray lol.
Edit: been on MFP and a fish finger butty (2 slices bread, low fat spread and four fish fingers) would be about 300- 400 calories- depending on the type of bread. Not bad for a main meal. They are very satisfying so I will have this one night this week :)
I like some iceberg lettuce on mine with a bit of mayo, or ketchup, or just plain :)

 Good Morning, well done for the losses and sts x

1.5 lb loss for me please, thanks knitwitch x

I spent most of the week working off what I'd put on over my birthday so a loss was a nice surprise this morning. It seems like constant celebrations here lately, think Easter weekend though is the last as we've had all the family birthdays.

Hope everyone has a great week and enjoys some sunshine x
  • Morning

Well done on the losses. Don't worry if you have put on this week it will soon be gone again.

Like several of you I'm a STS this week I think I know why so Will attempt to correct that this week.

Ellis fish finger sandwiches are lovely try one. (Maybe I shouldn't of said that)
The start of another week good luck all
