Another busy day of painting, I've got the first room finished :T
I really didn't want to do it, but now I've started I'm on a roll :rotfl:
Unfortunately I can't do any more painting until DS1 moves into that room, and then I'll do the room he's moved out of...it's been like musical beds here lately!
Men just don't seem so interested in making the house look nice, I may need to put a bomb under him to get him to move quickly (before the notion wears off!)
So been busy all day, but I don't think decorating uses up too many calories, so will be over on the eating today.
Good point though - no takeaway this weekend
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
I would have thought decorating was a really good work out actually! A lot of time on your feet, step-ups, stretching, a bit of light weight lifting, then lugging furniture back into place. More work than you realise!0

You'd think so, wouldn't you?
But I decorated all weekend, and I'm 2lbs up this morning!
And I didn't have any of my usual food vices...and I most certainly didn't have 7000 extra calories...I may as well have the bad stuff, if I'm going to put weight on every weekend anyway!!!
DS2 said he heard on the radio that this summer is to be the hottest for a hundred years, if so, that's another good reason to lose weight...summer is much easier if not overweight.
(of course, the report may have been by the same people who said last winter would be the coldest and snowiest for a hundred years...why does the media keep using weather forecasters who've proven they get it wrong?)
Right...no snacks this week, back to being strict.

I'm gutted...gutted...
I've been for a walk, and I was walking along a pavement (a narrow pavement, admittedly, but wider than myself), and a double decker bus came towards me...
he slowed down, indicated, and pulled out towards the middle of the road,
I looked round to see what the obstruction was, and there was absolutely nothing there! He was pulling out to go round ME!!!
Obviously what I think I look like, and what I actually look like are very different things :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Our bodies naturally fluctuate, based on time of day, time of the month, what you did the day before, how much water you drank in the last 24 hours... The best thing is to only weigh yourself once a week, same time of day, same circumstances. Otherwise you get yourself down over 2lbs of fluid retention that will be gone tomorrow...I'm gutted...gutted...

I don't know whether to :rotfl: or !! That's a shame... Maybe he was worried about a pothole or his mirror knocking you out?
Lovely breakfast idea: soak almonds in water overnight, strain, place in a blender with water and vanilla, blitz to form almond milk, then strain out the solid bits. Mix the solid bits with linseeds and chia seeds, serve with lightly poached apricots and a little bit of the almond milk. I heard almonds are really good for reducing fat absorption!0 -
Aw ellie I'm sure he was not wanting to pass too close in a high sided vehicle, and would have done that for anyone.
Well I've been better behaved today than over the weekend but definitely nred to try harder than today to lose anything this week.

11am: One round wholemeal toast. Cheese spread.

Hi. I've been MIA for a couple of weeks. I got so down because I didn't seem to be losing any weight no matter how hard I was trying that I completely lost the plot and made things much worse.
So trying to get back on track, today should be
B. 1 slice of toast with lf spread and honey
L. Small jacket potato with lf cheese and salad
D. Beef casserole with the last of the HG kale from the allotment0
