I think I am doing battle with the dratted "Witch" again this week :eek::eek:
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    afternoon all :D

not doing too bad, am fnding MFP really useful, if nothing else its making me really think about portion size and all the little extra's i was sneaking in.
i have also given up all sweet treats for lent  (i do this every year)
went out last night for a meal but just about kept within my limit, i had done 30 mins on the x-trainer too.

    the plan for today is:
    oats-so-simple
    apple
food dr pitta with sardines and a bit of salad
that leaves me about 500 cals for tonight, not sure what dinner will be, think it'll just be me eating so maybe beans or egg on toast.

    hope you're having a good one :D

hope you are all well :)

Glad it's not just me who has been in hiding! :o Started off feeling pretty positive last Monday and then things went down hill on Tuesday. Haven't dared look at the scales to post w weigh in. Drawing a line on it and will get back to being focused and possitive...

ok there's my line! :T thinking might try and give up chocolate and crisps for lent. Not really for any particular religious reason but more to give myself a bit of a focus. There are a few people at work doing the same so feels like I've got a bit more support than usual.

Managed a trip to the shop earlier and just got a cereal bar, which is good as I've avoided going since I came back to work as I was worried I'd just by junk.

Have started drinking Dr Stuart's Slim plus tea, the label says it acts as a appetite suppressant and so far it seems to be doing the trick. Off for swim tonight and then think it's veg and tofu stir fry for tea.

Not really looking forward to WI tomorrow but guess just need to focus on putting things right after the last week or so :o

  • Oh Dear I've fallen off the wagon :o

I normally keep pretty well but have been feeling seriously off colour today. If I had been drinking last night I could have put it down to a hangover, but not a drop passed my lips. You know that awful feeling when you have a thumping headache, are quite nauseous but not sure whether you are just hungry, so today I ditched the menu plan and tried the kill or cure approach and went with my body cravings = CARBSVILLE :eek: .
    B – 2x Toast & Jam + headache tablets = needed a sugar hit
L – 2 x Crusty Cob Rolls with ham & shop bought coleslaw = a bit of what you fancy does you good.
S – Another Crusty Cob Roll with ham & coleslaw = more of what you fancy.
D – Bolognaise with the last Crusty Cob.
S – Apple Juice (at least thats one of my 5 a day) Headache tablets then bed.

    Good luck for tomorrow’s weigh-in.

I've not posted since the weekend. I had a lovely time with all the family but have been eating up all the treats etc I baked for them all, plus finishing off the chocolates they brought me. I've decided to avoid the scales for a week or so so I don't depress myself so I won't be weighing in tomorrow.

B: HM granary bread toasted with HM raspberry jam and butter.
L: Tomato soup with a slice of HM granary bread. 1/3 crust of bread with butter. 2 pears.
D: Yellowfin sole with a lemon and black pepper coating, peas, jacket potatoes and butter. Raspberries and Greek yoghurt.
    Snacks: Pear. Hummous.

Exercise: 2 hours of Pilates. Walks to exercise class and work and back so about 2 miles in total.

  • such a lot of people here don't have anything for breakfast.

I'm ravenous in the morning-I don't know how you do it-if you have some protein your body uses calories trying to digest it.
