Meh - two weeks of illness/stress/barely eating and my weight has gone up 6 pounds :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Starting over again today and will do an official weigh in on Friday!

There you are, been missing you! Sorry about the gain, hopefully it's just fluid and will all be gone next week. Hugs xx

Beemuzed - Welcome to the thread.
Lauzt1987 - well done on the loss, I will edit the list later
Daska - Draw a line and carry on trying ;)
Vixtress - well done for drawing the line. I will join you in the meal planning (just need to stop eating these Belvita Breakfast Biscuits now) later when I have unpacked the shopping! Unpacking it makes me hungry so I had a sensible lunch first (biscuits excluded, oops I just realised I've eaten WAY too many of them, like 8, must swim that off tonight!).

Trying to make a healthy chicken curry for dinner so off to find old slimming mags to see if any recipes in there, but if anyone can share one I'd be grateful :)

    Evening all.

I have been naughty today I am afraid. I got started on a mega clean with the kids being back at school and didn't get round to eating till tea time! I had thrown a pork curry together whilst cleaning the kitchen and I am sure my portion size more than made up for it. I was starving.

    Morning all :)

I love Shrove Tuesday, happy pancake eating everyone :j

    Meals:
    BReakfast: fruit corner, satsumas
Lunch: ham and laughigh cow light sandwich, apple
Dinner: savoury pancakes (spinach & ricotta filling, baked in tomato sauce) and sweet pancakes (lemon and sugar) probably not great calorie wise, but we don't have them often and they're DH's fave. :D

Exercise:Lots of housework tonight, our house looks like it's been burgled or something

  • Morning all

I have been away at the caravan last week so didn't weigh in last week. I have had a few treats but have been walking a lot so hopefully that should balance things out :)

I am trying to cut out as much sugar as possible from my diet. It is difficult as I have a very sweet tooth but I find I have less cravings when I don't eat sugar.

    Yesterdays food
B: Porridge (no sugar!) with a little cinnamon & dried fruit
L: tuna & egg salad with a little bit of mayo
D: small portion of HM spaghetti bolognaise with wm pasta
    S: sushi snack pack
  • Not been a great day for me, veered off my plan somewhat for lunch and now better appreciate (or perhaps just making excuses) the effects of high carbs and lack of protein at lunchtime. I am assuming this is the most probable cause for the constant desire for 'something' else for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Culminating in the three chocolate digestives which just got polished off.

Thankfully every cloud does have a silver lining, I forgot about pancakes or it could well have been a whole lot worse.

    afternoon :D
am still feeling more positive today and hoping MFP will be a good thing, if nothing else i think it will help with the mindless eating (and drinking :o)

soooo, the plan for today is:

golden syrup oats-so-simple, the portion contol is good for me with a tbs of sultanas. this has really helped to keep me full :D

hm lentil and bacon soup & 2 ryvitas

    40 cal hot choc

hm ratatouille & feta with maybe a couple of ryvitas.
i will try and resist pancakes but may have a small one with the kids :)

this should still be under my 1200 cals, especially if i do 30 mins exercise dvd as im not going to be able to get to the gym.

    enjoy your day x
