sparrer have you tried yoga? It doesn't have to be pilates, you can start off very gently and incorporate the breathing techniques.
Also have heard some people recommend hula hooping [can use magnetic hoops, but I don't know much about them]. Also belly dancing works this area but doesn't have to be too strenuous.0 -

JBD I like the sound of yoga, everyone is so into pilates atm that yoga seems to put on the back burner in the popularity stakes. I'll ask around/look in the library when I go on Tues and see if there's a class nearby. (Not at all put off by the first site I clicked on which states in the first paragraph 'it can do wonders for your sex life'. A bit late now:rotfl: !!)
Thank you very much ragz for entering the update when you have a poorly on your hands. Hope your DS1 is feeling better and you don't have too much laundry as a result of his sickness

Afternoon all.
I weighed myself yesterday and didn't believe the result, so I did it again this morning and I've definitely lost best part of 3lbs this week! I'm really pleased with that, particularly as it's TOTM and I haven't been on the thread this week for any moral support.
Well done everyone else this week, and I hope your DS is better now, ragz.
Oh, andD - Grilled mini rack of ribs, sprout tops, little jacket (is that a bolero?) with teaspn lf spread, splash of gravy

Help someone send me some will power - I'm trying to stay focussed after two weeks of STS but it's tricky, I'm sitting here thinking that trying hard hasn't worked for two week so how bad would it be if I cracked open a bottle of beer and have some chocolate now! Trouble is if I do that and then have a drink with dinner then I'll be over my calories and will be teetering at the top of a very slippery slope.
Haven't been for a walk today either other than pottering around the charity shops this morning.
Please send will power!Piglet
