Kiwisaver- I always weigh first thing in the morning, as early as possible. It's the most accurate weight, I find. Later on you eat, drink tea - a cup of tea has to weigh nearly half a pound...

I also weigh first thing in the morning, no clothes and after going to the loo, that way it's always equivalent :) I can gain 2-3lb across the day with eating/drinking etc, so I think it's most accurate to always weigh first thing

    Morning all :)
Well done all the losers (nice one ragz :T) and sts's, and everyone for sticking with it no matter what

Reporting in with a 1lb loss this week. Strangely I'm beginning not to want to weigh, I keep trying to guess what the scales will say and always have a 10st plus figure in my head. Perhaps because it's been years since I was under it? On the plus side every little thing, like being able to tighten my watch strap to the next hole this week, keeps me going. As my family tells me, I'm just odd!

    B - F&F ss milk
D - dry-fried egg and onions, grilled tomato, sausage, mushrooms on slice toasted Danish, sf jelly
T - Crackerbread spread with ff yogurt, 1xvegemite, 1xrf cheese&pickle, 1xmarmalade (all in very tiny portions)
Snacks - melon, pear, satsuma, grapes
    Exercise - 1/2 hour pulm.
Most of me looks okay but I need find something to get my belly down, can't do sit-ups etc, so any suggestions please?

Enjoy the rest of the day :)

sparrer reducing the tummy, I have found swimming brilliant for that, especially the backstroke. I have had 3 babies plus carried the majority of my weight [5 extra stones at my heaviest] on my front, so I know my tummy will never be perfect but I am very pleased with the way it looks now.
I know swimming isn't for everyone though, so would recommend anything that works the core [pilates eg]. Other than that it is just general fat burning. It may just be that your tummy is the last place to lose the stubborn fat from so just keep at it and be patient [hard to do I know]

I haven't posted my meal plans for a while, so here goes -
B - porridge with dried fruit, cinammon and honey
L - wholemeal pitta, dry fried halloumi light with homemade taztiki , I thorntons mini brownie
    D -quinoa, stir fry vegetables
    snacks -fresh fruit.

The thornton mini brownies are absolutely gorgeous, only 67 cals so good for a little chocolate treat [thankfully my kids volunteered to eat the rest so they're not there to tempt me!]
  • Hello
I'm reporting as STS this week. Really thought I might have lost as I've had flu and hardly eaten all week. Mainly a tin of soup and some fruit each day. Perhaps that balanced staying in bed, not moving so didn't burn any calories.
Anyway, heres to a better week and feeling more human. Good luck everyone.

Thanks JBD, I know swimming is a good all rounder and I would dearly love to but I can't breathe if I do! The b*m is getting flatter and I'm beginning to see a waist so it's not all bad. As you say there are various ways for the tum so I'll just have to percy vere with muscle exercises ie pulling my tummy to my backbone (!) for 30 seconds at a time all through the day. It's bound to get the message eventually! :)
